Season 11
The Turkey Open is Sunday, November 3rd so we will begin the 2019 / 2020 season the following Monday on November 4th.

5:30pm REGISTRATION OPENS (approx.)
6:25pm REGISTRATION CLOSES (approx.)
- Averages of the players registered will determine the split in players into an A and B pool.
- A player's average from last year will be used to determine their placement this year until they have recorded 3 weeks.
- For every 5 games played this year, 1 lowest average is dropped.
- The Mango's Randomizer determines the teams with added programming to ensure even teams and few repeat teams.
- If we have an odd player, the middle player is his/her own partner (Cali).
- If we have an odd number of teams a ghost team will be created each round.

8:30pm DOUBLE TAP (approx.)
9:30pm PLAYOFF START (approx.)
10:30pm ALL DONE! (approx.)

SIDE BETS:
- Double Tap (Ace Pool): $10 to join. $1/ticket (no max this year) for a chance to make a double (2 in a row) on a Mach Shift basket with everyone yelling at you trying to make you miss. Each week the pot will roll over to have it keep growing! If the first person misses one, a second gets a chance for a partial pot.
- Most Doubles: $2 buy in. Keep track of your doubles for yourself for all 4 rounds. Most at the end takes the cash. May payout multiple spots.
- Poker Doubles: $2 buy in. Each double earns a card. Max 5 card poker hand. Best hand wins it takes all the cash. Only payout 1 spot.
- Best Average: $2 buy in. Using the average from DGS over 4 rounds. Best shooters at the ends takes the cash. May payout multiple spots.


RULES:
- Horseshoe style system with teams splitting up on either side of the court to play against another team.
- Two putts each. 1 made is 1pt, 2 made is 3 pts.
- Play to 15pts but must win by 2pts or more.
- Always finish out a side even if a winning team cannot be caught due to points differentials.
- Play must start within 4 mins of games being announced.
--- If not all of the players are present within 4 mins the game starts with the missing players accounting for 2 missed putts until they arrive.
--- A player cannot play Cali if their partner is missing.
- Everyone plays 4 games guaranteed.
--- If you sign up and leave before all 4 games are done, you will be black listed from coming back.
- Top 6 or 8 teams make the play off determined by # of wins and then PTS earned.
- If there is a tie WITHIN the top team for seeding then teams will play a short game.
--- All 4 player putt. Team with the most points wins.
--- If tied after first volly, then one side at a time goes until the tie is broken.
- If there is a tie to get INTO the playoffs then those teams play to 11pts, win by 2pts or more.

This year we will be keeping points based on attendance and finish in the playoffs. On the last day of the league we will hold an additional finals bracket for the top 16 players to form 8 teams (random from 1-8 A-pool and 9-16 B-pool). Ties broken to get in based on the number of week attended then by points from the most recent week. To be eligible a player must pay $20 by Jan 28th. That money will be used as the payout for the finals bracket.

As I type this I am amazed that we have reached 11 years old now and I continue to see other putting league form in our own local areas, around the state, and nationwide.
