About this league
Fee to join $25
Valley Sports presents the Tri-County Leisure League: An 8-week series featuring some of the best golf in Putnam, Cabell, and Kanawha Counties! This league will track stroke play for six (6) divisions: Women, Novice, Recreational, Intermediate, Advanced, and Open. Participants will only compete against players in the same division. Please note that players may not switch divisions once the league begins. Six (6) or more players will be required to form a division. League administrators reserve the right to place players in a division based on skill level and PDGA rating.
The winner of each amateur division will earn a disc golf cart from Dynamic Discs.

Second place finishers will receive a Dynamic Discs Trooper Backpack. The Open division will play for cash. General entries for all divisions will be $25 and an optional $1 ace fund will be in place each week. All players will also be eligible for two (2) Closest-To-The-Pin (CTP) prizes each week at no additional cost. Please note that the ace fund and CTP's are only available for our scheduled Sunday league rounds.
League play is set for Sundays at 2:00 PM. If a player misses a league round they will have five (5) days to turn in score cards to a league administrator. Players must turn in scores by Friday at 8:00 PM for them to count towards the series. Participants that wish to make up a league round during the week must have at least two (2) people on their card that can play and serve as witnesses. At least one witness should be a leisure league participant.
Players must attend four (4) or more scheduled league rounds on Sundays to be considered for prizes. Any score that is not turned in by the deadline of 8:00 PM on Friday will be recorded as the highest score in the respective division plus two (+2) strokes. Cheating will not be tolerated and is grounds for dismissal from the league without a refund. This includes - but is not limited to - throwing extra shots, restarting rounds, reporting false scores, and playing multiple rounds for a better score. Although this is not a sanctioned league all PDGA rules still apply.
There will be one league administrator appointed to each course we play. Course representatives will be responsible for collecting ace fund, selecting CTP holes, and recording scores for the week. This includes any make-up rounds that are played Monday-Friday. Any questions about the course layouts should be sent to the appropriate course representative.
The league schedule will be as follows. All divisions will play short tees...
September 29th - Valley Park
October 6th - Redeemer Yellow
October 13th - Eleanor Park
October 20th - Crazy 8
October 27th - Little Creek
November 3rd - Rotary Park
November 10th - Barboursville Park
November 17th - Valley Park
Our finale on November 17th at Valley Park will conclude the series and no scores will be accepted after that date. Please plan to be there as we'll be sure to throw in some fun extras to end the series right. Entries may preregister by contacting league administrators or bring payment to the first day of league play. We hope to see many of our local friends join us for this series to enjoy some great fall golf!
