About this league

No Bounds Coed Doubles League Rules

We will be giving State Berths to the top 2 finishers of the league.

Weekly Cost: $5
Ace Pool: $2
CTP: $3

Where is my money going?
Weekly $5 is split as follows:
$1: League To pay for berths and other league related stuff
$4: Weekly Payouts Payouts will be split evenly between partners

What Time Do We Start: We'll meet at 1:30 and Throw at 2 pm.

ACE POOL PAYOUTS: Payouts are based on how many times you have played in any of our doubles leagues.
Played in our league 1-3 times & hit an ace win 20% of the pot.
Played in our league 4-9 times & hit an ace win 50% of the pot.
Played in our league 10+ times & hit an ace win 80% of the pot.

The remaining 20%, 50%, or 80% is left in the pot to start the next Ace pool.

If multiple Aces are hit in a round, then the winners will win 40% of the pot if they've played 10+ times, 25% of the pot if they've played 4-9 times, and 10% of the pot if they've played 1-3 times.

If the ace pot hits $1000 then the pot will continue to grow but any aces hit will payout $200, $500, or $800 depending on times played. The remaining money will stay in the pot along with any ace pool money collected over $1000.

If no Aces are hit and/or the Ace pot is over $600 at the end of the season then there will be an invitation only Ace race for players who have come to at least 8 league rounds in 2019. The Ace race will be before the start of the 2020 Spring season.

If Cali hits an ace on his or her second throw it will only be worth 50%.

If there is a tie for first and a playoff for first then the ace pool will still be in effect if the same holes as the round are being used. If a safari hole or a new hole is used then the ace pool will not be in effect. The Ace pool won't be in effect for Throw offs or any playoffs that aren't for first.

How Teams are Picked:
After you pay, grab a chip with a number on it, we'll write it down next to your name, put it in the bag. After everyone has paid and picked a number, we will draw numbers out of the bag. Each two numbers will be teammates. So I draw 4 & then 12, the players with those two numbers will be partners. Women can choose to not be on the same team. If they choose to not be on the same team then I draw 4 & then 12 and both are women then the next number I draw will be a partner with 4 and the second number drawn will be a partner with 12.

The last remaining chip will be Cali. Cali gets 1 extra throw per hole, and they do not carry over.

If 3 or more women show up and the ladies choose to then the ladies will be teamed up with ladies and will play on their own card and score will only go towards the women with payouts going to the women. So if 3 ladies show up they can play doubles with a cali or they can play singles and we can best decide a handicap for newish players. 4 or more and we'll do doubles. We'll have our own division for the women if this happens as well.

It is best lie and both team members must throw from the same lie. If the rule is broken then their next throw must be thrown from the furthest lie.

If your teammate cannot finish the round then you may play Cali for the remaining holes.

You must play at least half of the holes to get points for the week.

Points:
We are playing 15 weeks but only your top 12 scores will count, dropping your 4 lowest.

However many teams we have will be how many points will be given out. If there are six teams then points will go 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. If there are 3 teams then 3, 2, 1 and so on. If there are ties then those teams will get the higher points and the next place team will get the points for their position. For example if there are five teams and two tie for second then points are given 5, 4, 4, 2, 1. If a playoff is played to determine the winner then the winning team will receive the higher points. If a throw off is used to determine who wins the cash then the teams will receive the same amount of points.

If there is a tie for a payout then teams can decide to have a playoff, a throw off, or to split the cash. We prefer 1st place ties to be decided by a playoff and any other cash payouts to be decided by a throw off.

Bonus Points:
CTP Winners = 1 (2 CTPs each week, *you must pay into CTP pot to win the points)
30 foot or longer putts = 1
3 Birds in a Row = 1
4 Birds in a Row = 2
5 Birds in a Row = 3
Etc.
150 foot or less Ace = 5
151-200 foot Ace = 10
201-250 foot Ace = 15
251 foot or more = 20

CTPs: There will be 2 CTPs each week. A 50/50 cash CTP and a disc CTP. Winners of the CTPs will also get one bonus point for that week. An Ace will count as CTP.

If you are Cali, you can use your extra throw to try and get CTP.

Weather: I will post by noon if we will not be playing that day. If there is no post by noon then expect to play. At 2 pm if it's lightning then we will wait an hour and play at 3 pm. If at 3 pm it's still lightning then we will cancel that week and replay it at the end of the season.
