Just a reminder that we will be postponing league play until after the time change (Nov 7). After that time, we will be moving league play to Sundays at 1:00, format:random doubles. This will be effective until April, when we will move back to Monday nights/Singles Handicapped. We will still be playing Monday nights for a while so come out if you want to play.

Also, the Club T-shirts are in, I will have them Monday night, otherwise drop me an email or call me and we can connect. I also have more discs for club members who have not received your disc yet.

The club will be meeting sometime in the next few weeks to hold elections and discuss course matters. Everyone is welcome to attend, I will let you know when a date and time is selected.

Leagues will start at normal time tonight (6-6:13), we will be serving food around 4, up until leagues start. We will be playing with 1 disc tonight, (but we may do random doubles). I will throw in a bunch of extra stuff for prizes, and the Pre-League CTP will be a 50/50 tonight. I will have payouts from last week, and if I owe you $ from previous weeks let me know.

The Whitehall Township Board has informed me today that their policy regarding sales and events at the course will be strictly enforced. There shall be no sales or events held at the course unless 100% of the profits go to the township/course. Because of some recent developments and inquiries to the board from individuals, they have decided to look at it more closely and this is the result. I am working to get this policy loosened a bit. How does that old saying go....

Hey guys and gals; James and I have begun replacing the broken baskets on the old 18. So far we have replaced 2, 3, and 9. Plans are to get a few done per day before the heat knocks us out. We are getting new locks and covering them with plastic to keep the sand and water out.
Other items being considered for the course:
(1) To take four of these baskets for the "Horseshoe" pit area.
(2) Hopefully we can get something rolling on the pavilion and storage, this is in the planning stage.
(3) Moving the rocks from the new tee box area on hole 8 to the front area by the parking lot and taking the landscape ties and using them around the base of the tee pad at hole 8.
(4) Repositioning and widening the gate by the bulletin board.
(5) Finishing up the bottom step area by the proposed pavilion area.
(6) We still need benches on some of the "Deep 9" holes.
(7) Some tee areas on the "Deep 9" need framing and sand.
Let's have a quick brainstorming session at leagues to set another work day (maybe Sunday, July 18 or Sunday, July 25).

Anyone with a video camera should bring it and shoot the course (Action and work shots). I have the capability of editing and stitching multiple videos and we can have a nice video to post here on Disc Golf Scene.
