What a great night for glow. Warmer temps finally showed up, as did a few new faces and some old friends. 24 players on the night where we played the BWR-WRB layout. A few extra CTPs were added to the round in honor of the final fall-winter league round.

Taking down the win with an impressive -15 was Kirkaldy/Neal. Coming in 2nd with a -13 was the duo of Plantz/Arnet. Just a shot back at -12 was Walker/Crouch. Last cashing position saw a log-jam of -11 from Oliverio/Brayton, Selig/Boucher, Sailler/Wykes, and Rivamonte/Common. Selig/Boucher won in the tie-breaker flip of the disc.

Ace Pool ($116) rolls over to our Spring/Summer league, which starts on April 3. We are taking 2 weeks off from play, but as always I would encourage you to continue playing on Wednesday nights. We will start at Bandemer when league starts back up on April 3rd.

Fun night with 20 folks in attendance for the round. A fresh 1-3 inches of snow on the course was actually welcomed given that it was all ice underneath. It made for a little more traction in some places, which helped when we were putting.

Big thank you again to Nate Krumm who came out to help salt tee pads before the round. HUGE help in assisting getting the course ready for you all each week. Give him a high five, or bring him a beer. I hear he likes IPAs (he actually mentioined double IPAs were some of his favorites).

Also a big thank you to Brooke Plantz who donated a Mini-bot Destroyer and a 2002 Ice Bowl Roc. that CTP was placed on Hole 7. Great looking plastic and always apprecaite the support. Thank you Brooke.

Top scores for the night were a -13 by Neal/Plantz and Crouch/Walker. They split the cashing spots. Last cash saw 3 teams at -12. Cash went to Sailler/Boucher, who won in a flip against Shaffer/Common and Perras/Jopps.

A decent night after some very light rain earlier in the day leaving slightly crunchy snow out there in the course. Top scores on the night included a -15 by Crouch/Sprow and Krumm/Jopps. They split cashing spots. Final cash went to Common/Rivamonte with a -13. Not a lot of score separation on the night which made for some very competitive rounds.

We also had an ace on the night. Sprow aced Hole 1 Red (first throw of the night). He took home $62 of the Ace Pool. Congratulations to that guy!

A small turnout of 18 players on a night where temps were not all that bad (given we went through a Polar Votex and -30 degree temps last week). BIG Thank You to Nate Krumm for coming to help shovel and apply some salt to the pads before league. Karma has a way of rewarding you for these good deeds (in this case it was less than 2 hours later).

Top scores on the night included a -14 by Common/Brayton, who took with win. -13 was turned in by Rolfe-Chin/Crouch for 2nd place, and in a flip off at -12, Krumm/Tschirhart take last cash beating out Neal/Sprow and Herron/Sailler.

First, BIG THANK YOU to Jeff Danes and crew for shoveling the pads. I ran into them when I arrived and helped them in a search for a missing disc(which was locted). They had shoveled pretty much every hole and every teepad earlier in the day. You folks rock. Saved us a lot of time and effort.

We had 23 players out for league this week. A few new faces to our league so thank you for coming out and spending the round with us. We hope that you come back and join us for future rounds.

Top score on the Red-White alternating layout was a -13 by Sprow/Howard. Close on their heels was a -12 by Carey/Ritchey. Rounding out the cashing spots was a -10 by Crouch/Arnet and Brayton(Cali)....Brayton won the flip for the additional cash.

Top scores on the night were a pair of -14 by Sailler/Brayton and Binienda/Rivamonte, where they chose to split cash. Close on their heels coming in at -13 was Selig/Chroback and Commons/Perras...Selig/Chroback took the extra $10 in payouts as they won the flip of the disc.

Rivamonte aced hole 5 on the night at took home $80 from the ace pool. Congratulations and well done Mike.

Based on conditions, wind, and the "MBD weather curse" we are going to move to Bandemer for the forseeable future. We tend to have a little more protection from the elements and teepads are easier to maintain should we get any of that "white stuff" on the ground.

Jeb Trombley also aced Hole 3 from the Red tees to take home $78 in ace pool money. This marks the 3rd week in a row that someone has aced during leagues.

What a wonderful night. We had one of our larger turnouts in the past few weeks (28 players) and many of you got to participate in our gift exchange. Everyone goes home a winner. Thank you to Bill Chapman for securing a mini-keg of Bell's 2-Hearted Ale, which was used for a CTP on the night. And thank you to Joe Arnet for providing some extra batteries and LED lights. Everything is very much appreciated.

On the night there were 2 teams who turned in -12: Arnet/Sullivan and Rolfe-Chin/Brayton. The -10 groups (Trombley/Crouch, Common/Sprow, and Ritchey/Reslock)split the cash and threw off for the extra $10, which went to Common/Sprow.

Bring a new disc golf related item (typical new disc value is around $15)....wrapped of course. Discs should be new, non-inked, and unthrown.

If you do not have something on hand, I will have our club inventory if you wanted to purchase something and participate.

We will play our league round and then at the conclusion, gifts will be selected....winning scores from the round will have first choice at the "gifts" that were brought (assuming that they participated and brought one themselves).

2nd place will go next, and so on until all gifts have been selected. We have done this for the past few years and I think things have gone well. In addition to that, who does not like getting some new disc golf gear?

We again played alternate Hole 1 with Hole 3 playing from Hole 2 tee pad....along with Even Long/Odd Short tee pad assignments. Top score was a -10 by Rolfe-Chin/Boucher. They were followed closely by a -9 from Brayton/Krumm and then a pair of -8 from Neal/Taint and Common/Trombley.....Neal/Taint won the flip for last cash.

Top scores on the night were -11, which were turned in by Trombley/Sprow, Chapman/Common, Sailler/Selig, and Krumm/Taint. These teams were all in cashing positions and split the pot taking home $32/team.

ALSO, Mark Ritchey and Russell Taint both aced. Ritchey got Hole 4 red, and Taint got hole 9 Blue. They each took home $103. They flipped for the remaining $1, which I think went to Ritchey.

Since weather is still cooperating, we will head to Mary Beth Doyle for next week's round.

Top score on the night was a -16 by Sailler/Crouch. 2nd place was -13 by Fifer/Christian. Last cashing spots were Neal/Chapman and Brayton/Wonnacott at -11. Chapman/Neal take the extra cash in the flip.

What a perfect night for glow. On top of being Halloween, the weather was fantastic as we saw 20 players in attendance for the round. Big thank you to Bo Fought and Phil Common for their CTP donations. Also thank you to Phil/Jen for bringing the WC Glow carved pumpkin and to whomever supplied the beverages (I am guessing Arnet based on past experience, but I may be wrong there).

Top score turned in was a -12 by Sprow/Neal. 2nd place score was a -11 by Arnet/Common, and a -10 by Perras/Thelen rounded out the cashing spots.
