Skyler Stoker made club history last night with his 3rd consecutive Friday Night league championship! He edged out the win by 1 stroke on Blue longs that was playing a little tougher than usual last night. Skyler is now the back to back to back and current holder of the Stony Cup. Congrats to an awesome guy on and off the course!

In doubles, John Hamel won the 2018 league doubles champ title and the Chainstar Pro in a sudden death playoff with Lori (Killer) Mullen. Next year its the old guy division for you sir!

Thank you everyone for playing this year! It was a blast! See you next year.

Lori Mullen wins $40 for winning the ladies div point race AND she will make an appearance in the final 4 next week against the boys to try to become the doubles champ this year. Good luck Lori!!

The top 5 point earners after August 17th, the penultimate week of the season, will make the finals. All 5 players will cash! There is also a $50 prize for the player who wins the points race this year!

Doubles:

The top 4 players with the most points will make the finals. The champion will win a Chainstar permanent basket. There will be prizes for 2nd, 3rd and 4th places too.

The final round is scheduled for Friday August 24th at 5:30.

Chef and Zog tie for the win in Singles and team Lori / Kevin D win dubs and also shot the hot round but neither were in the hot round side bet. Also Chef did not enter the Hot round so Zog and team Scott K/Tom C split the cash!

Unfortunately I won’t be able to get to stony until about 5:30 tonight so sign up may be a little rushed. The good thing is that this is one of the longest days of the year so even if we start a bit late we’ll probably be ok.

The Club CTP is gonna be awesome tonight. Club stamped FD, towel, Mitten Bag, vinyl sticker and and all weather scorecard.

We played the layout we used for the 2017 Stony Creek Open but we added the gold tee on 7 making it about a 700' par 5. Then the usual safari from 15 to 17's basket and two temp holes by the entrance for our CTP's. Temp A had a mando and hazard long grass and we shortened temp B a bit.

Herzog shoots a 49 and win $60 in open plus he edged out the winning doubles team Collin/Cody by 1 stroke to take home $58 more for the Hot Round! That course was brutal! Nice shooting guys!

We played "Green Long Islands" layout. Green longs with Islands on 6 and 15 PLUS the Gold tee on 7 making that hole a par 5.

Bart proceeded to destroy the field by 5 strokes and 4 strokes better than the doubles earning him $54 for shooting the Hot Round and $60 for beating the 25 man pro filed tonight! Way to go Bartoz!!!!

Nice hit Tom! Cody V aced hole 5 for $97 and he also won doubles AND he split the $70 hot round side bet with some old dude who shot -10 in singles boom!

With about 7 holes to go... It hit! A friggin blizzard... in April! And it snowed for the rest of the night. WOW!!!

Herzog wins open and team Cody V/Jordan F win doubles. Both shooting the hot round of 46 (-8). They would have split the $60 in cash but Cody and Jordan did not get in the side bet and Ryan ended up walking away with a total of $110 in week 1!!!! BOOM!!!

Hollinger won the 50/50 and Dan B won the Club CTP

Don Warfield hit an ace on hole 6 but was not in the ace pool and it is now worth $103 going into next week. Don still got 3 league points for the ace. Nice shot man!

A slight miscommunication between us and Stony Creek ended up with our round being canceled. Everyone who paid last night will be credited towards the next time you play with us.

The Stonycreek police told me they would work with us so we can finish up our round next week. So next Friday when the cops gets on the loudspeaker telling everyone the park is about to close, the league players can disregard that and finish up without trying to hurry.

Season 16 will begin in earnest next week.

There are still only 2 divisions, singles and doubles. The points you earn from whichever division you play in will be your Masters division points. This division will only exist on paper. After the first few weeks, you will have the option of paying into a purse that we will award to our first ever FND@S Masters champion.

If you will be 40yo by August 24, 2018 you are eligible.

Season starts in 4 weeks!
