All proceeds from this tag challenge go to support the final Bag Tag Challenge payouts and the FSU Disc Golf Teams trip to compete in the 2018 National Collegiate Disc Golf Championships! Players compete against other tag holders with the goal of ending the season with the lowest tag score. Your tag score is calculated dividing your average tag number by the number of other tag holders you have competed against every time you play (up to 10)! Player with the lowest tag score after play on Sunday, May 6, 2017 wins $100.00! Second place $50.00, Third place $25.00, and Fourth place $10.00!
Tags can be on the line during ANY round where two or more players compete. EVEN during doubles or during the putting league! (Example: If four tag holders play a doubles round, the two players on the winning team would get the two lowest tags w/ the partner who had the lowest number going in getting the lowest number, and so on…). During a round of Wolf or DoRunRun, even though players would redistribute tags based on the final points total, tags would be redistributed according to points earned, and so on. Exchanging tags based on results of a horseshoes match would be done similarly.
Every time tags change hands, it is imperative that the round either be submitted directly on DiscGolfScene OR the scores and tag numbers be reported to Leonard by sending an email to:
[email redacted].
Two major changes this year!
1) The denominator used when calculating the score following a round shall not exceed 10.
2) The Tag Holder # competed against is DOUBLED for tag challenges at NE League and Tournament Rounds – including casual rounds following formal events such as an “Ace Race,†“Trilogy Challenge,†etc. , up to 10 (meaning 20!)
