About this league
24 Cha!ns is a group of highly dedicated Disc Golfers whom fear no weather, play year round at courses throughout lower Michigan.
Summer league is every Friday with a tee time of 6pm. Courses are decided by vote or counsel members discretion except for the first Friday of the month which will always be at Waterworks aka Pirates Bay in Ypsilanti. Pirate Bay rounds are also $5 Freddy rounds. Voting for courses will start as soon as a post is made and will end on Wednesday. Usually rounds are doubles but we will also play singles, ChaChi, ript, one disc wonder, and are always open to new games and format ideas. Tarzan & dirty dollars are frequent during the round.
Shenanigans is not only allowed but encouraged! There are only 2 rules, you cannot touch a player while in the motion of throwing and you cannot touch a disc in flight...with anything.
New this year, we will be offering a $10 bag tag that will put you in the running for a berth to states & for your registration to states paid for! Whom ever wins the point series for the summer will win the berth package. If a winning player already has a berth to states they will get the paid registration and the berth will go to the next player in line. The point series will end 3 weeks before states but we will continue to hold league until November when we switch back to Sundays.
This is by far more fun than any league out there! CHAAAAAAAAA!!!
