About this league

The addition of bag tags to the WC Glow Spring/Summer league is first and foremost to add more fun, light-hearted competition to both league and casual rounds. There is no cash payout at the end of the league season to the top bag tag holder; bragging rights and a trophy are what we will be playing for.

Anyone may play in the WC Glow Bag Tag league. However, it is a closed league and there will be a one-time $12.00 fee. The fee must be paid before your rounds will be tracked. The fee includes the bag tag and an etched WC Glow pint glass.

To prevent someone getting the number 1 tag and going into hiding until the last week, a minimum of 8 rounds of WC Glow Spring/Summer on Wednesday nights need to be played in order to be eligible for the title of WC Glow Bag Tag Champion. You also need to show up to the WC Glow Spring/Summer Finale on August 24th and put your tag on the line in order to be crowned Champion (the final round can be your 8th round). Furthermore, bag tags are always on the line, so keep them on your bag. Part of the fun with bag tags is the extra competitive spirit they bring to any round, whether it is a casual round, a different league, or even a tournament.

- Your BAG tag belongs on your BAG. You must bring it to the league round. If you do not have your tag, that round will not count toward your 8 total rounds. We will address forgotten tags and determine a solution on a case by case basis during the season. Lost tags can be replaced for $5 ($5 will be returned if the lost tag is found and returned).

- 8 Wednesday night league rounds (minimum) are required to be eligible for the first place trophy but, you can buy a tag as long as they are still available (you just might not get enough rounds in to be the official champ).

- Tags should be turned in before the start of a round to an individual (league staff at WC Glow rounds); this will help ensure all tags that are in play will be distributed appropriately afterwards.

- The tag you leave with after a round will be determined by your score. The lowest score will leave with the lowest tag. In the event of a tie (which will always happen with doubles) the player that entered the round with the lower tag, will leave with the lower tag.

- This is not a point league, so there will be no additional points earned for playing or winning rounds. Cash games on the side can be considered and are encouraged.

- The trophy will go to the player that earns the #1 bag tag at the end of the WC Glow Spring/Summer Finale on August 24th.
