Don't forget about tomorrow! High/Low Doubles registration is from 9 - 9:30AM. If you are late, sorry... but groups are getting set and will not be getting modified. You may at least enjoy some cool beer while we're out playing.

The Dogs of Disc is the second oldest Disc Golf Club in the state of Michigan. We moved to Tuesday nights for the first time in 33 years this past year. We did however, offer the chance to join the club/league and play rounds with a group of at least 3 paying in members and turn in a card to obtain an average and become eligible for the year end high/low doubles tournament. (Make Up rounds cost $2 per person. This helps with the year end party payouts, pig cost, and beer cost.)
As a league member you will obtain a custom stamp disc, a shirt, and/or more custom stamp/design GRDoD items and are invited to the year end party to be held on 19th of September. The party includes pork and beer...two highly sought items come the end of the year. Not all players are into either, but are still welcome to come and enjoy and bring a dish to pass. Make Up rounds cost $2 per person. This helps with the year end party payouts, pig cost, and beer cost.
Throughout the season, multiple items are given to participants through CTPs and LPs by our sponsors. MORE sponsors are always welcome, so if you have a place you think would or could make fellow disc golfers happy, please contact GRDoD staff and/or [email redacted].
Ace pool is capped to $300 for Brewer North and South. Whatever goes over $300 is added to the year end High/Low Doubles tournament. Alternate courses (Fallasburg, Riverside, BlueGill,) are considered Alternate Night and will also be capped at $300.
Handicap is applied throughout the season (starts after 4 rounds AND 3 rounds at a particular course), and will be used to help determine HOT ROUND. Hot Round will earn you a free league night play including Ace Pool and 50/50. Free league night play = free opportunity to win stuff...& make friends.
Ace Pool Rules: If you are NOT a league member, you are only eligible for the Ace Pool collected the day of league play. Make-up round, though 3 players total are present, will only be worth an attaboy/girl and a mentioning on the DiscGolfScene. LEAGUE/Club MEMBERS are eligible for the full accumulated ace pool total for the course of play including the night of value (minus whatever is over cap).
50/50 - The 50/50 has been meant multiple things throughout the years of GRDoD. Charity, courses, and lives have been affected by the donations of players. The 50/50 is a CTP (Closest To Pin) hole where 50% of the money brought in, goes to the player with the best drive... and the other half has been donated. Donations have helped charities, courses, and the club accomplish many of good things.
