I did not get a chance last night as it was a little crazy getting everything going, so I would like to do it now.
I sincerely appreciate all of you not only coming out last night, but for each week of league during the fall and winter. We certainly had our share of cold and windy nights, but we all made the best of it. I am honored that you keep coming out each week and hope that you enjoy participating in WC Glow.....as always, feedback is welcomed on how I can improve your experience.
Looking forward to a good spring summer season. We will start up in early-mid April. Considering a bag tag series.....please let me know if you are interested and what you might like to see in addition to the tags (disc, shirt, etc.).

Hope all of you are enjoying this Winter Storm 2015. I have already shoveled twice today, and it could use some more.....trying to not let it all build up.

Reminder for glow this Wednesday. Looks like we will have some extra white stuff on the ground. Will have more LEDs available(order in transit, should be here Tuesday would be my guess).

Lastly, a reminder there is a special Glow Night at Rolling Hills this coming Friday.....yes, that's right: GLOW at Rolling Hiils. Listed in DGLA as YPSI Dubs 2015 Glow Night @ Rolling, it will be a GREAT night to come out and play. Please join us for this FUN event. Please look up the page for more details.

Glow tomorrow night looks to be pretty cold.....as of now, LOW single digits and not supposed to be much wind.

We are at Bandemer tomorrow, and for the future.....tees are always much better and protection from wind is a HUGE plus.

LEDs available as well.....have Red and Blue available.

Have CFR discs available as well. Glow Destroyers, Firebirds(170-172), Rhynos, and Roc3. All funds go towards club to make improvements at Bandemer.....suggestions welcome as to what you would like to see improved.....have some ideas but more is better.

Well, winter appears to finally be here in Michigan. With the snow and cold, and projected really cold temps in the next few days, I am going to switch this week's round to BANDEMER....The woods will offer more protection from wind and snow, as well as the tee pads will certainly be in better shape (shoveled).

In addition, I should have BLUE and RED LEDs available on Wednesday. Glow discs are a challenge to find on a snow covered fairway....or rough for that matter.

Good turnout on the coldest league round of the year. Confident for those of you involved in DGLA, I would expect that you earned double points as feel like was 5 degrees during the later part of the round.
T Pills and Brooke take the win with a -11.... Three teams at -10 shoot off for the last two places. Restock and Hepler take home cash CTPs and Sprow earned the merch CTP.
Back to our regular schedule of Wednesday next week.....right now scheduled for MBD, but given temp and winds, Bandemer offers more protection from the elements. Will try to have the formal post made by Sunday afternoon....will monitor upcoming weather to make a formal decision.

Great to see so many of you brave the cold last evening to play at MBD.
20 players in attendance. Hot score of -12 takes the win (DeHaan/Sprow). 2 teams at -10 (Reslock/Smith and Crouch/Neuman). Several CTPS out there as well. EMU Eagles in the house and raising funds for their trip to nationals. Please consider buying one of their fundraising discs to support their effort.
Small change next week. Since Christmas Eve falls on our normal league night, and after talking with a several of you last evening we will play league on TUESDAY DEC 23 next week. . . only 1 day earlier.
Still being held at Bandemer at 7:30. I will be coming from a dentist appointment and will be there a little later than I normally am....hopefully shortly after 7.

The Michigan Disc Golf Organization (MDGO) is offering disc golf clubs an opportunity to purchase the following limited edition discs: an ESP Glow Buzzz and a ESP Banger GT. The proceeds will be benefit the Discraft Michigan State Finals and the club selling them. The logo on the Buzzz will feature the MDGO hot stamp which can be seen here: https://flic.kr/p/pUvqhH. Still waiting for confirmation for the stamp which will be featured on the Banger. If you are interested in purchasing one or more of these, please let me know before December 12th, which is when I will be submitting my order request.

Well, it appears that winter is officially here a bit early. With some of that white stuff on the ground, I want to remind everyone that glow discs can become difficult to locate at times. If you have LEDs, I would suggest taping them on tonight in preparation for tomorrow's round. If you do not have LEDs, I will have some for sale tomorrow. Please arrive a few minutes early to make your purchase and get them taped on.
We are at MBD tomorrow evening. Dress warm. Forecast says feel-like temps will be below 20. I will also make arrangements to have some hand warmers for sale too.

We had another dual ace night with Hepler striking again and Sailler splitting the pot with an ace of his own. 3-way tie for top spot at -11. 2 other teams finished only 1 shot back at -10. CTPs on the night went to Jay B, Bo, Kerns, and Sprow.
We are back at MBD next week. Have some league stamped discs left(Firebirds and G* Destroyers....only $15 each.
Working on trying to establish/run a few tournaments for WC Glow in 2015. Any feedback on dates/locations/formats is welcomed. Hoping to offer some good local events in the next year.

Mood LEDs slowly transition from one color to the next. Great effect for our glow rounds this fall. Should have them in plenty of time for next week's round.

Another good turnout for numbers, so thank you all for making for another successful night. I am very happy with the numbers. I sincerely hope that you all are having a good time. If you have any suggestions on how I might make some improvements please let's find a few minutes to talk.
We return to Bandemer next week. I will try to have a free CTP to all in attendance. Planning on a growler of beer, but suggestions are welcomed for what to offer for CTPs. Traditionally we have offered either cash or plastic, but could find other discgolf gear to include as well if there is interest.

I don't have any LEDs at the moment so Shane will not have any on hand tomorrow night. I do have more ordered, but they will not be here in time for Wednesday's round.
$10 will be all in tomorrow($5/play, $2 Ace Pool, and $3 for CTPs (2 are 100% and 1 is a 50-50). I will try to stop by after conferences and still have several league stamped Firebirds and G-Star Destroyers available....$15/each.

Shane picked up his last night and at least two others and getting theirs this weekend. Variety of weights in the Champion Firebird and G-Star Destroyers. Pay early and get the best selection. 2 cash CTPs and a mercy CTP was offered, compliments of Lost Disc Tribe out of Jackson(A BIG THANK YOU) to Ben Ross for donating a Gummy Glow Destroyer and mini. If you have not been out to one of their league rounds or events, you simply must make the time. Great guys and lots of fun.
We are at MBD next week. Please be advised that there is road construction on Stone School Road just past the entrance to the neighborhood where the course is located. Plans a few extra minutes to get there. Tee time remains at 730pm, seems to be working out just fine so far.

First round of Fall/Winter takes place tomorrow at Bandemer. Start time of 730....we are going to try this start time with the understanding that I may need to move it to 7pm.
Have ordered Red LEDs(the are in transit now) and I am hoping they are here tomorrow. Also placed an order for league stamped discs and they should be shipped soon(hoping they will be here in time for week 2).
Ordered Flat Top Glow Roc, Champion Firebird, and G-Star Destroyers. Speak up if you are interested in one. Price will be determined once I get confirmation on the costs of shipping/freight. Please remember that my goal is to make a little money for the club and to provide you all with discs that you throw.

First league night of WC Glow Fall/Winter takes place on Oct. 1 at Bandemer. I have ordered some discs which will be likely available for week 2.
We are going to try out the 730 start time, with the understanding that this may change. Traditionally we have started at 7, but we will see how this goes.
