About this league
Fee per round $5
This will be a fundraising league w the efforts going toward the Ira Township Disc Golf Course improvement and expansion fund. This fund's efforts are to add concrete tee pads, improve the quality of the baskets to PDGA legal baskets, and expand the course to a full 18 holes. This takes time, and a lot of funds. Please come out and join us in the league, to give back to the game and help grow the sport.
The league will be a $5 weekly entry. The break down goes like this:
$1 of the $5 will go directly into the course improvement fund, $1 will go into the final pay out of the players at the end of the season.
$1 will go into the progressive ace pool. The ace pool will pay out 50% if an ace is hit. At the end of the season what’s left in the pool, will go to the course fund. If you join the league late or miss a week, you will be responsible for the back pay of the ace pool only. If an ace is hit the week you miss, or you join after an ace is hit, you will only be responsible for the fresh ace pool, not the back funds prior to the ace being hit.
The other $2 will go into the weekly 50/50 CTP. One hole will be chosen at random for the ctp each week, and 50% will go to the winner, the other 50% of course, will go into the course fund.
This will be a random doubles league. Best shot doubles play, and teams will win points according to 1st, 2nd, 3rd and so on, at the end of the round. If an odd number of players are in attendance, a Cali will be played and the Cali will get two throws just as every other team.
Final pay out of the league pool will be generated from the 50% pool from the entry fee at the end of the year and will be as follows.
1st place player: 50%
2nd place player: 30%
3rd place player: 20%
