So putting for the longest winter in our short history has ended. Many thanks need to go out which has made our season so much fun. Shawn Mascorro, Ken Mango, Chris Leo, Ryan Herzog, Mike Cook, Brandon Dub, Samantha Gilbert, Nick Cooke, the Crew who set up the course early every week, the staff at Sunnybrook for taking down our course and keeping us fed and "watered" on a weekly basis. We had thought as league on Monday at Firefighters begins on the 14th that if it was nice outside on the 7th we would play a doubles but if the weather was bad we would go inside and putt one last week. Sunnybrook told me today that there will be a bowling banquet on the 7th so we cannot putt in the room. BOOM, with that, our season is over. Have a great Summer and once again, thank you to all who helped and all who played.

So idk if someone from out my way (ferndale) would be interested in scooping me and sam up tonight for putt leagues. Or possibally giving us a ride home we would also be taking home our basket. becau ... show more ›

Or possibally giving us a ride home we would also be taking home our basket. because im sure i can get up there but if i dont have a ride home. So needing room for the me sam and a basket is asking kinda alot. But if not i might have to snag my basket up.

I would like to thank B Dub for making the announcement of having people tally their makes/misses at the end of the rounds. I was blown away by the amount of people that actual did it, 99% of the people participated and I can't thank you enough! It makes my job so much easier and easily saves me an hour on average when inputting the stats.

So it has been awhile since I posted up here and have posted any weekly results. Suffice it to say I have not heard back yet about adding averages for everyone but I am still hopeful. For now, what I ... show more ›

So it has been awhile since I posted up here and have posted any weekly results. Suffice it to say I have not heard back yet about adding averages for everyone but I am still hopeful. For now, what I can post is how many players we have had per week. For the 1st 11 weeks of the season 657 players or a weekly average of just under 60 players a week. Like Jeff Bauman said, "give it up, it will never catch on!"

Ryan Herzog is collecting $10 (one time fee) for anyone who wants to enter a payout based on their percentages of the year based on X amount of weeks. Please see Ryan at Putting if you wish to participate. I am keeping track of points based on how well each person fairs at the end of the night. Points are awarded like this: There are 8 teams that make it into the Final 8. The winning team receives 9 points, 2nd place receives 8 points, 3rd place receives 7 points, etc.. The last cash team each receives 2 points. Everyone else who attended receives 1 point. Not sure what to do with this but if someone wants to collect another one time fee ($10 to enter) we can award prizes for the top X amount of points at the end of the putting league as well. Just a thought based off of ideas people had last week... Scores from last week have been posted. Also, we could use 1 more basket to leave at Sunnybrook...
