As we recount and tally all of the scores from “The Return” all of the council would like to thank everyone that came out to play the event and even more so those whom braved one of the worst winters in recent times. We traveled countless miles and have survived blizzards, Ice storms, rum and frost bite, you should all be proud that you spit in the face of the hag ‘Ole mother nature and kept pressing on. We will be opening up our Friday Night schedule May 2nd and play Bandemer as per tradition, we look forward to seeing all of you for happy hour and enjoy the break. Having said that, some of us are still going to be posting and playing games in the area, Shaffer for one is holding a Five $ freddy at Cass Benton this Sunday at 10:00 am with a 10:30 tee off. I have even heard whispers of a repeat of the famed trip to Albion and after math in the VIP room at Dark Horse going down the 27th. So keep a keen eye to the horizion as the Priates always have something heading your way…

Well then... 'tis April Fools day, but this is no joke. We have come to our final league round of the season. after this week we will be finishing up with our season end tournament, Battle at the Bay on the 13th before switching to Fridays for the summer.

So where do you want to play? There's been rumblings of the Gultch, but be aware that if we play there, it will have to be as a casual group of ne'erdowells and not as league as per course rules.

The winter season is coming to a close, cue the collective sigh of relief, but we still have 2 weeks remaining before we crown our victors at Pirate's Bay on the 13th of April. We currently have a tie at the top between Reslock and Minard. Reslock has made a push the last couple weeks taking first and the #1 tag each of the last two rounds. Which one will prevail and where will the #1 tag fall? Can one of you scoundrels hit the jackpot ace pool for some quick cash and 25 points to jump ahead?

You have two weeks to do it... and this week you'll get your shot at Pirate's Bay one last time. Our friends from the Ypsi Dubs Church congregation will once again be joining us so you know it'll be a grand ol' time as usual!

Bring your dirties and a quarter roll of two, docking to port at 10 and shenanigans be damned, the cannons will fire at 10:30!

Sunday 29th at waterworks.. Normally its a $5 cash round last round of the month.. But instead we are going to do a Secret Santa disc Exchange. The way it will work is you must bring a New or barely used disc or discgolf related item ($10 value or up) Wrapped with your name on it.. That will be ur entry for the cash round. At the end of the round the winners will get first choice of wrapped gift and so on down the line. (If you do not have a disc let us know in advance we will wrap some extras and then you can just buy it off whoever brings it..

Also Ypsi dubs will be joining us..

So to make it best of both world we will play 9 holes Of 24 Chains Mob style golf(if we are over 30 players we will vote for 1 group or 2 groups for that 9)This we be the round for the gift exchange(Random flip doubles)

So with the new month approaching, our next round will follow the annual stuffing of the faces and giving of the thanks. The council has decided to attempt something new (cue grumbling and arrrrghs from the scoundrel crew). Prior to voting, 4 courses shall be plotted on the raiding map, 2 local and 2 distant ports. Voting shall hitherto commence and conclude at high noon the following Thursday.

The 24 Chains crew has voted to accept this invite to join Night Moose and Ypsi Dubs for a day of hearty laughs, stiff drinks and plenty of disc golf. As much as i would enjoy playing kensington after the lasst 2 weeks of travel i believe that we should stay local.. But that the votes be the votes.
