Time to get this league started. The winter was way to long!!!!!!
We started April 3rd last year. The course is ready. Tuesday nights again. If someone else wants to keep track of scores and points for me that would be great. I will make them an assistant. We can have a practice round on the 7th. And start next week on the 14th of May. I am open for ideas for this year. Let's play!

I know of 4 teams that played yesterday. I played with Paul against Dan and Pete. We struggled early on but improved our score in the end with 4 birds on the last 4 holes. Dan and Pete ruled over us with 10 under par 46. Claiming 13 skins to our 1.
I got a text from Bob, he was on a team with Myron playing against Nick and Cody Lotz. They were ruled over also, they posted 7 under but Nick and Cody shot a 43 for 13 under! No word on skins. Happy 4th! Be safe.

There might be a problem entering doubles team members, I just had a problem myself got to get that figured out.

Myron now has taken over the lead there. I eliminated some of the extra handicap point rules trying to make it simplier. You get 1 point for each player you beat per week
Ace = 8 points/ Eagle = 4 points
Most birdies = 5 points
Most bogies = 5 points
Lowest score of the week = 5 points (split equally if tie)
Highest score of the week = 3 points
Shoot 2 to 4 strokes below handicap = 5 points
Shoot 2 to 4 strokes above handicap = 2 points
Shoot 5 or more strokes below handicap = 7 points
Shoot 5 or more strokes above handicap = 1 point
Holes 2,8,10,14 are worth extra points because of their difficulty:
Par any hole 2,8,10,14 = 1 point / Birdie = 2 points
Par 2 and 8 = 3 points
Par 10 and 14 = 3 points
Par all 4 holes in one round = 8 points
Birdie 2 of the 4 holes = 6 points
You get 5 extra points for posting your score on the day you play and justifing to me (in a message to me) How you earned your points. (I do not want you to tell me how many points you got)

Handicaps will be calculated and given to you based on the the average of the three lowest league scores at Almon park. Not every one has three scores right now so you will get the best average available. As soon as you do have three scores, your handicap can be recalculated.
Handicaps = (ave score - 56) x 80% rounded up at .5 or above.
If you don't want a handicap, please tell me and I will remove it.
Handicaps will be recalculated as needed.

Jon and I played against Pete and Dan. It was a close contest each winning large skin holes. We were tied standing at the 17th tee. We lost 17 with 2 bad tees each nailing trees. We had a chance to tie on the last hole so I teed off with my classic shark curve coming to rest only 3 ft from the hole. I figured we had this hole in the bag until Dan tees off and puts his just outside mine! We were 6 under to their 7 under. They won the skin battle too.

You never know who is going to be on top week to week! Congrats Kyle and Chris. Joesph said he was on 'fire' with a 59, compared to the 70's he was shooting. Your raking in points from both ends. What will next week have in store?
