The tag tourney was a big success! Great weather, good players, lots of food and beer.

We sold 7 new tags yesterday and have 18 more to sell to whomever wants one.

We played one round, straight up, with cash payout for the top third.

No one hit an ace so we played "mini boccie" for the ace pot. There was a line set up and everyone had one chance to throw a mini closet to a pile of discs. KAZ took it down by being about 2 ft. away and won himself $20.

Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and we helped raise money for the course. We should be able to get a lot of new pads and tee signs with this money.

I'm gonna have some trash bags for each group to bring around as well. There is a fair amount of trash to be picked up and I'd like it done before the tag tourney.

I'm gonna try to get there early to walk the course with some clippers and a steel rake to fix up the course a bit as well. Any and all help is appreciated.

At the end of the season I'm giving away a few awards for this league. Most importantly, IMO, is the West Thompson Trooper Award, which will be given to the person who has contributed the most to WT a ... show more ›

At the end of the season I'm giving away a few awards for this league. Most importantly, IMO, is the West Thompson Trooper Award, which will be given to the person who has contributed the most to WT and disc golf this year.

If you play in the league you can vote. PM me here or on Nefa and I'll tally it. The person you feel has done the most.

Today will be handi singles again per the norm. I wanna see lots of tags show up!! We have a tourney at the end of the month, lets mix it up a bit before then!

Dewey lost the 7 hole playoff against Paul and takes 2nd.

Jeff E takes down third, Donny with fourth, and Greg beats Cheef in a playoff for fifth.

We had tryouts for 2 spots last night for the lowest two scores before cap.

The two newest members of Team West Thompson are Donny Tellier and Jeff Chauvin!!!! Congratulations to both and welcome to the team!!!
