About this league

We will be trying out a bi-weekly team-oriented league for 2025. This league set up will mirror how many local bowling leagues run. Matches will put two different teams against each other twice a month. Each team plays each other once (round robin style). When that is over the top two of that "session" earn a spot in the championship at the end of the season.
The max amount of teams for this season will be 7 teams so that there will be two different sessions with the top 2 teams per each session making the finals (in october). When a session is over each team starts the next session with a clean slate.
- the top two teams as of July first and October first will make the final where all the money will be distributed based on the performance in the final.
Both teams will choose their desired course and time to play every two weeks
- the default day and time if nothing can be agreed upon is Sunday @ 1pm
- the team in lesser positioning overall will get final say on the course each week
- the course must be within an hour of both teams unless agreed upon by both teams
Weekly scoring will go as follows...
One person under 860 (2 pts)
One person 860-910 (2 pts)
One person 910+ (2 pts)
One alternate for each division is allowed but not required. The teams are required to have at least one player for each division (3 total). The maximum number of players on a team will be 6 (two for each division). If both players in a team's division are able to attend a match then the best score between them is taken.
7 points possible each week. Top score in each division gets scored and gets 2 points per win. And the team that has the lowest total score between the top three players gets an additional point.
Each team will have a team captain to make final decisions and a home course to use when deciding which courses are fair to play for each team. Teams must all be located within 1 1/2 hours of Indiana, pa.
$10 for each player to enter the league.
$5 per player each week.
All money gets saved until the end for the championship.
