Congrats to Ben Murphy with the hot round last week of 47 (-7). We had 16 players last week. We are in the final week of the season before the Invitational and we are playing Mary Beth Doyle with no OB. We've already had 9 players and the hot round so far is a 45 (-9) from Brian.

The Invitational this year will be July 19th at Mary Beth Doyle. We’ll check in at 9 and tee off at 9:30. We are going to play 1 round from the shorts 1-18. The women will play a Cali singles round (meaning they get one rethrow per hole, does not carry over). The men will play a doubles round and be teamed up by standings first with last, 2nd with 2nd to last, etc. They have to throw from the same lie, no splitting. If there is an odd man out then the middle person will play Cali and get one rethrow per hole and it doesn’t carry over.

The best women’s score will win a berth. The 2 best team scores from the doubles round will win a berth.

If there is a Cali from the doubles that has one of the best scores, then that will leave us with one berth to give out. To give out that berth whoever played in the Invitational can play. We will play singles with no rethrows starting on holes 1, 2, 3. The best score from those 3 will win the berth. If there is still a tie those who are tied will play 4, 8, 11, the best score from those 3 holes will win the berth. If there is still a tie those who are tied will play 12, 13, & 14, the best score from those 3 will win the berth. If there is still a tie we will start the loop over.

If there is a tie in either division for the berth they will play the same loop until a team wins (that can happen on hole 1), we will only keep playing until a winner breaks the tie. Women will continue using their rethrows.

Those who win a berth will get a bag tag and a towel and will get to choose a heat or a zone. The remaining discs will be used for CTPs. Holes 3, 13, and 14 will be the CTP holes.

There will be no OB. Cost is $15 per person (cash or Venmo) and we’ll do an optional ace pot of $5. If no one hits an ace then we’ll throw off on hole 3 and CTP on that hole will take the cash.

This week we are at Bandemer to play the Red and White tees. Score the red tees as Holes 1-9 and the White tees as Holes 10-18. Hot round is 51 and no bogeys on Hole 2 Reds so can we keep that going? Have a great week!

We had 25 players at Northridge and Ben Murphy had the hot round with a score of 51. The following week at Hudson OG Josh Morgan and Bjarne had the hot round with scores of 63.

This week we are at Lakeshore playing the Ponds and OB will be the pond and over any fences. Right now the hot round is Ben Murphy with a score of 52 (-4). Weather for the first half of the week is looking good, might get some rain at the end of the week but Lakeshore stays pretty dry.

Including this week there are only 5 weeks left. I'll update how many rounds everyone has played in the comments section on disc golf scene. You need 7 weeks played to get an invite. Right now the Invitational is scheduled for Saturday, July 19th and will be at either MBD or Bandemer. If you are using a nickname on UDisc please send me a message so I know what division to put you in for the Invitational. The cost for that will be $15 for each person and we will have some Discraft CTPs to give away that day as well.

Tomorrow we go to Northridge for the week and OB will be the water, over the fence by the highway, and in the road or parking lot. The island hole play as an island and if you don't make it on the green throw from the drop zone with a penalty.

There are exactly 7 weeks left so if you haven't gotten a round in yet and want to get an invite to the invitational this is the week you'll need to start. Have a great week!

We are starting Week 7 and remember you need to play 7 weeks out of the 15 to qualify for our small berth tourney. If you go to the leaderboard tab under overall it will tell you how many times you've played this year. So you still have 9 weeks to get in 7 rounds.

No OB this week as I don't know where any of the OB is. There is a large ravine that's deepr than the one at the Gulch hole so be warned of that.

With Willow being under construction for the foreseeable future we need a new course to play this weekend so we're going to play Brighton Rec. It's been a couple of years since I been there so I don't remember if there is a cost to get in or not and we'll play 18 holes from the short tees (if there are short and long). I know there are some big hills if you are a cart user.

There is a little 6 or 9 hole putter course on site too to get warmed up.

It's the same exit as the Gulch just a little bit farther and reminds me of a mixture of Gulch and Indy Lake. So let's give it a shot. If you know of any costs or anything about the course or park please leave a comment so we can know. I'll post scores for last week and this week tomorrow.

Congrats to Josh, Alex, and Felix for all shooting the hot round of 52 (-3). Cass Benton kept everybody pretty close score wise. Hole 11 was the easiest hole for the week with 41.7% getting birdies. Hole 8 was the toughest with 75% getting a bogey or worse.

This week we are playing Indy West in the B position. I did not know that both baskets are now in so be on the lookout for the holes with 2 baskets and play to the B pin position. Holes, 1, 2, 4, 7, 11, 13, & 17 I think are all of them.

Once you are finished with your round (or before) go and play the new putt putt course. 18 holes ranging from 25 feet to 60 feet. It's a nice warmup or cool down. The way I play is throw 2 putters on each hole, make 1 is worth 1 point, make both is worth 3 points, most points after 18 wins. I got 5 points when I played so definitely room to improve.

Hot round through today is a score of 55 (E) by Josh.

In a couple of weeks we have Willow on the schedule but Willow is closed for reconfiguration so we'll be moving that league out and I'll update in the next week.

Tomorrow we will be playing at Hudson Mills Monster playing 24 holes. OB will be water on Holes 1, 2, 17 & 18 and on or over any roads. The weather isn't going to be the greatest for dryness but that's why we have all week to dodge the rain drops.

Week 1 begins Saturday at Rolling Hills. We'll be playing the original course from the Shorts. It's the first week so no OB this week. You can also play 2 rounds and your best score will be kept. In the comments I'll put who starts the year with 1 week played. Remember you'll need to play in at least 7 events this season to get an invite to our Berth round.
