About this league
Fee per round $12
This is a 6 week Bring Your Own Partner (BYOP) Glow Doubles league at White Birch. You do not need to play every week to enjoy this league, or have the same partner every week.
Check in between 5-5:30 and start round at 5:45. I will pair you with a team to play with if you dont have one.
The league will use a different format for play/scoring every week as well as a different layout every week to match the format we are using. The format schedule and explanation is below:
Week 1- Best shot format. A team always picks the best throw from one of the team members as its lie.
Week 2- Alternate shot format. In this format, teammates take turns throwing until one teammate gets the disc in the basket.
Week 3- Tough shot format. Teammates have to play from the worst shot each throw. Only one made putt is needed to finish each hole. (ACES CANCEL THE WORST SHOT RULE)
Week 4- TRUE Worst shot format. Teammates have to play from the worst drive only and two made putts are needed (one by each teammate from the same spot) to finish each hole. (ACES CANCEL THE WORST SHOT RULE)
Week 5- Alternate tee shot format. In this format, it is predetermined which teammate will take which tee shot no matter who finishes the previous hole. One teammate must tee off on all even holes, and the other teammate all odd holes.
Week 6- Combined score format. In combined score doubles, both teammates play a hole to completion as they would in singles play. After both players complete the hole, their scores are added together to create the team's score for the hole. So if one teammate completes a hole in three shots and the other in four, they would have a combined score of seven.
Registration is $12/round for each team. Fee breakdown: $2 ACE pool, $2 league fees, $8 towards cash payouts.
Payouts: All payouts will be done via PayPal or Venmo. (Whichever registration fee was paid with)
Ace Payouts: If 1 ACE is hit during a round 75% of the pool will be paid out, if more than 1 person hits an ACE 100% of the pool will be paid.
