By the time our round Wednesday June 15 plays out we will have played a maximum of 13 rounds both doubles and singles.
We should take all of the players who have played at least half of those rounds which will be 7 rounds (rounded up) and use their rounds played to calculate an average number of rounds played by all of those players. This will equal 8 players and their round average will be 10 rounds. Thereby, we will use a "best 10 rounds played" to accomodate the scoring for each player in the league.
Going forward from there, if you have played 10 rounds, you can only imporve if you knock out one of the lowest scrores of your moving ten on any given new round. Those with less rounds than 10 can only improve their scores as they play more rounds that will add to their score base. This process should alllow for some more closeness to come to the groups as the lower rounded players get the opportunity to pick up points on the highel levels who will have a more difficult time improving their scores which already comprise ten rounds.
Come on! Someone speak! This will be fun to watch and really tighten up the battle at the top while the rest of the group slides in for the fight! I predict a sleeper will come from the lower tier to make a play for at least third place in the final scoring!
