The final week of the season is our High-Low Doubles tournament (Sept. 7) where each member will be paired with another member based on season scoring averages. Please check in at the table BEFORE 5:15pm on Thursday. Partners will be paired at 5:15, so anyone arriving after that will not be playing. We will have a brief player meeting and tee at about 5:30. If you cannot attend, please let us know.
Immediately following the doubles tournament, we will be handing out our season-ending awards and celebrating the top finishers, so make sure you hang around afterward.
The course will open at exactly 4pm on Thursday, so feel free to come get an hour of practice in before doubles.

Scholten has locked up the scoring race, but the handicap race is deadlocked at the top with seven players still in mathematical contention. Week 20 should be a fun one!

As you all know, next week will be Week 10. This means Thursday, June 22 is the date for our members-only Divisional Tournament. **So if you have friends interested in coming out as guests, make sure you tell them to wait until Week 11.

The course will open at 4PM for anyone looking to warmup before the tournament. All players are expected to check in BEFORE 5:15PM. We will have a brief player meeting and tee at 5:30PM via a shotgun start. This event will be sanctioned for active PDGA members.

Scoring averages from the first half of the season will be used to divide players into four divisions. The top three finishers from each division will be paid out in plastic. The top finisher in each division will also be offered a berth to the Michigan Amateur State Championships (if declined, the berth will be awarded to the next best finisher in that same division). There are FIVE total berths that will be awarded. That means the best non-division-winning overall score will also receive a berth.

If you will NOT be attending, please let us know as soon as possible because divisions will be formed based on numbers. See you all next week!

The season is officially underway! A great turnout for Week 1 last night as most players dodged the rain and enjoyed a beautiful evening on the course. Some fire came off one card as Benjamin Hovinga set the new course record with a monster 47 (-11) setting the tone early that he expects to challenge for the league title this year. We also had our first ace of the season as Jared DeVisser smashed chains on Hole 16 to win half of the ace pool and a beautiful Grip6 belt!
Handicaps won't set until Week 3 and points will be retroactively awarded at that point.
