As the former PGA professional at Marshallia Ranch Golf Course (VAFB), I attempted to rescue this course from obscurity. There are 3 rusted and dilapidated baskets on each hole, not just 3 locations, but 3 baskets which makes for an awful confusing round. Complete waste of resources, signage is severely lacking and ticks everywhere. The goal was to install 9 of the refurbished baskets from on base to the golf course facility which "was" open to the public at the time expanding golf opportunities ...

There are 3 rusted and dilapidated baskets on each hole, not just 3 locations, but 3 baskets which makes for an awful confusing round. Complete waste of resources, signage is severely lacking and ticks everywhere. The goal was to install 9 of the refurbished baskets from on base to the golf course facility which "was" open to the public at the time expanding golf opportunities for all of the community. All this was nixed when suddenly and abruptly the Air Force ceased operations at the cherished and top 3 military golf facility in the world, Marshallia Ranch. Let this be a lesson, Non-golfers should NOT be making golf decisions in regards to military golf opportunities.
