Family needed a break so we stopped here to throw some plastic. This is definitely a decent course for first time players, but anyone with any skill will outgrow it quickly. The course is a very quick play, which is good for people with limited time on their hands. I wouldn't drive outta my way for this course.
Decent use of the land, and the grounds seem to be very well maintained. While not very challenging, it was a very good course for first timers/family to play and learn the basics of the game.
Holes are pretty short, and for the most part very open and flat. No real challenges for the established player. The parking situation was also a bit unclear, as the closest lot seems to belong to the Vandalia High School. There is limited parking at the park across the road, but then you have to walk all the way across the course to get to the first tee box. Ace runs galore, left me very frustrated as all I could get is a couple of metal hits. Putter and midrange course for most.
