I grew up playing KC courses like Rosedale, and this was a perfect replacement in my own backyard! Great layout with lots of variables and challenging holes. You start up top with a typical park course, then you cross creeks, bridges, and pathways that take you on a great journey through the woods. Not great for beginners, but if you like a good layout with a good challenge, this is one of the best courses I’ve played.

One of my favorite courses! SO MUCH VARIETY! I think I used 90% of the discs in my bag when I played this. Not something that happens much on most of these small town city park courses. I think it was on hole six I realized that this wasn't what I was expecting. It started out almost like a regular Kansas community park course with the creek factoring in, I crossed the stepping stones to tee 6(?) on the top of the creek bank and the course suddenly did a 180! Tunnel shots, careful shot placement and threading the needle on the next several holes. The wooded area of this course IS NOT beginner friendly at all. I can see that even some advanced players could have some struggle on a few holes in the sticks. Baskets are all Discatcher Pro and are in great condition.
Get some cement pads, open up the tree shots JUST A LITTLE, maybe a couple out-houses (fits the backwoods decor) and I would definitely give this course an A+, mainly for the fun factor. This has to be one of the funnest courses in the state of Kansas!

Each hole required a different shot and forced me out of my comfort zone. I like the high risk/ big reward aspect of several holes. Some are very easy while others are next to impossible to find a line.

Needs concrete T Pads and some of the Pads in the woods are uneven and too small. It also felt like the geometry was off with some of the angles on the pads but again that could be a product of being outside of my comfort zone.

If you find a balance between clearing some more underbrush and trees along with the rubish and dead limbs but still keep the intimidation factor in place with whats left, this is a solid A.

a good mix of short and longer holes that follow a creek through the park with just enough trees. Several of the holes can leave you searching for a disk and have a great risk/reward factor. A score under par is easily achieved if you can get off to good start on 1 and 2. The first two holes are the hardest on the course. There are tee signs and concrete markers on every hole and the tee signs also show the next holes tee as well.
