This course is brand new, and I believe it was just finished in the Fall of 2014. It's a great course, however the sense of direction is the hardest part.
Hole 1 starts out on the left part of the open field and shoots in to the corner pocket of the woods. From there, the other 8 holes are in the woods. After hole 3 (I think it is) you have to walk all the way across the dirt driveway and by the baseball diamonds and into the left part of the woods to make it to the next tee. There's nothing ...

This course is awesome! I've been playing disc golf for 7 years but have only played a couple courses. Well every summer I go on vacation to my family's summer home on houghton lake. Well this summer I decided to bring up my discs and venture out to try something new and this course was very pleasing. I'm at hole 7 now chilling out on the awesome bench that each hole provides! The only thing I'd recommend is some trash cans spread throughout.
Navigating the course is simple, at the start of ...

Not a bad course, fairly easy to navigate, there are a few holes that need better signage. The walk from 9 back to 1 or the parking lot doesn't seem right as you are walking into the fairway of 1 in a blind spot for discs. The weeds and ferns are outrageously long. The wood chips are rutted up, needs improvement.

Short technical shots but I'm so sad because I lost my green 10 year anniversary Buzzz on hole 7 I believe it was, it was off to the right side. If you find it I'll reward you

Short course, but with plenty of difficulty... A couple of the holes are super easy, but a couple are challenging. Hole 1 is my favorite, however I do not think it should be labeled as par 4. Nice mix of uphill and downhill shots. Fairly well taken care of, except for some tall weeds and brush on some walkways. Like to see expansion to 18 holes soon, as there is plenty of room out there for it.

Good signage, nice use of land and hiking trails. 18 natural tee pads and still-shiny Chainstar baskets. Mostly shorter, wooded holes with a few gorgeous tunnel shots and a handful of beautiful, wood-lined greens. Still a challenge despite the short track length. I played on a wet summer day and the natural dirt tee areas were somewhat difficult to grip.

While it's a short course, it's not necessarily an easy one. Great use of terrain, a lot of the holes play through the woods. Good course to practice short, technical shots. Fairly easy to navigate, decent signage, just needs some permanent tee pads, and it might rank a little higher.

I think you can forget most of the early reviews of this course. Nice baskets, nice teepads. Nice signage. Short technical course, nice. Continuity and flow are a bit lacking. Tons of the fun factor with this course. And the league here is unique and super fun. Nice, fun filled course to play.

Short wooded semi technical course. The front 9 plays on one side of a grass field/ball fields and the back 9 plays on the other side. A few long walks between holes, especially on holes 1 to 2 and 10 to 11. LHBH/RHFH friendly with a few doglegs and several straight holes. No water hazards. The flow isn’t ideal, but good tee signs and next hole direction signs aid navigation. The rough is pretty forgiving for a wooded course. Good baskets, concrete pads, benches, a porta potty and parking lot. Overall a fun course that is well maintained.
