•Ship Rock Disc Golf Course, established in 2012 in Willow Street PA, within Lancaster County, this is a beautiful course with rolling green hills, and picturesque landscapes along side the winding Pequea River. Having both a gold and silver layout, allows for multiple levels of skill to play this course. You can expect long open holes, with quite a bit of elevation change, a few tight line wooded holes, and a couple very unique challenges that you won’t find anywhere else.
•The gold layout is 8,214 feet, and par 64 This course features 9 par 3’s, 8 par 4’s and 1 par 5, as well as almost 300 feet of elevation change.
•You can congratulate yourself for even completing this long course with a ton of elevation. Ship Rock definitely requires distance from the gold tees, but hitting tight lines is also required on many of the holes to score well. A beautiful course over many rolling hills, along the Pequea river and looking over scenic Lancaster county, even if you aren’t playing well, you’ll still have plenty to enjoy while playing this course.
•Ship Rock is dog and cart friendly, with restrooms available. The parking lot is a little small to house larger tournaments, but entrance road provides for overflow. Some areas of the course are difficult to get a mower into, so tall grass is occasionally an issue. Other than that, this is a great course, fun and challenging for mostly all levels of player.
