Great course! Can play very long and the wind can be a factor. There's a really nice mix of shots, doggie rights & lefts, short pokes, a lot of opportunity for the big guns to let loose, nicely protected pin locations. The signage is nice and the trail is easy to follow. The maintenance is fantastic. Lots of seating at the tees. Adequate trash & recycling receptacles. There's a lot of native grass and when it sets seed and dries some lightweight gaters will do a player good. Check for ticks in t ...

Great area for golf with plenty of elevation, difficult shots, and awesome views. Very unique pin placements on some holes and some tricky OB on some holes. The wind can also add an additional elements especially on 27. Definitely bring plenty of water and snacks as it's a long course with no amenities once you start. Very fun and I highly recommend it.

Such a fun course. We had short-medium set up when we played and still had a ton of fun. So many different positions could make this a completely different course every time. I want to play with everything in super long positions it would be a very big challenge. Bring all your shots for this course for sure. Hole 3 is up there with my favorite holes in disc golf

Beautiful course with many elevation changes and different types of shots that need to be used.

This was fun to play. A great mix of challenging holes. Most holes played long, but some of them were down hills. Loved the 3rd hole, with its severe down hill basket over 400 ft away. What I didn't like were the long walks between holes and the tee pads were too short.

It's my home course, so I'm biased. This is a fun course with 27 holes that has lots of elevation changes and technical shots in and around the oak trees. Be mindful of the poison oak if you lose your disc in the brush. Also, even on mild days, bring water and be prepared to get warm!

My favorite stomping ground! I learned to play here, and continue to enjoy every hole one the course (OK that's a lie, hole 14 pisses me off lol). This course made me love disc golf, and still does. If you haven't been do yourself a favor and give it a shot.

It was a great course. One of the best ever. It's gone now. And i am sad.

Super fun course. Long. Plenty of elevation and challenging shots. Can be windy. You will encounter poison oak (keep your disc on the fairway!). Check for ticks afterwards. Really never crowded unless there is a big tournament happening.

The Ranch is back! The Monterey Stinging Jellies Disc Golf Club, its members and myriad volunteers have brought back the Ranch's original 30 holes (20 on the bottom, 10 up top). The Ranch is one of the best disc golf courses in Central California, and is well worth the trip! (It's 32 holes if you play the shorties 13a and 20a...)
