Only course still operating in Bozeman. Nothing special, just a flat field. Decent enough if you’re just wanting some practice. If you’re looking for a real course head up to big sky.

Rose will always have a special place in my heart, but it is a very open course with minimal obstacles. For a casual round where you just want to go throw or test your distances, it's perfect.

I like the tall tee marker posts. I don't like the layout, flat terrain, and lack of trees or obstacles. It was nice to have a course to play during the winter. One foot of snow!

Played here a few years ago, had to skip hole 1 due to excavation. mostly wide open. The man made hills and hilltop greens are cool. Totally worth playing.

Rose was basically created on a wide open field, however quite a bit of earthwork has been done creating berms that shape the holes and make for almost no flat greens. There is a master plan that includes many manmade mandos and sculptures to add difficulty and groovieness but for now the only hazards are the wind- and it can be brutal- the berms and the long grass that doesn't all get mowed in the late summer. We play this one to practice throws and when we cant play the mountain courses.
