Just played herer for the first time, not a bad little course. Curious though, I saw a couple par 4's out there. I believe 7&8, maybe 1 more.. And 18 said par 5. Are they normally played as such, or is everything a par 3? I could see 5 being a par 4, but unsure about the others
On the course signs at Riverbend, Holes 7, 8 and 14 are listed as par 4. Hole 18 is listed as par 5. We have used "course par" for some special events such as my "Stableford" tournament in the early summer. You earn points for your score relative to par rather than turning in the number of throws.

Concrete was poured this week for 4 additional long tees for the Riverbend course. Holes 6, 8, 17 and 18 now have concrete tee pads for the new long tees. We need to give the congrete a few days to cure. It still looks pretty "green". The riverbend course now has 15 holes with long tees. Holes 11, 13 and 14 have only one tee.
The pars listed on tee signs at a disc golf course are usually for the average casual player. When we play tournaments, we consider everything to be a par 3. However, I really don't understand why so many people are concerned about par. When you play a tournament it's the number of throws that counts, not where you stand with respect to par.
