Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It was great to get outside and toss some discs around today! It was 93 degrees with virtually no wind so it was HOT but all in all, I threw very well and my shoulder did okay for the most part. I still don't know how serious this injury is (right shoulder) but I don't feel that I made it any worse by playing which is good. I tested it by tossing around my Megasoft Shield near our apartment complex yesterday and it did okay so I thought I would go for it and keep things safe by playing at Reserves Park (vs. say Harbin Park). In any case, I executed my throws quite well and my accuracy was solid for the most part! My Cottonwood Buzzz hit a smooth, safe line on #3 during Round #2 while my Star Stingray darn near dropped into the #5 basket (hit it high)."

Matthew Hull 18 - Regular tees, 9 holes "The streak is alive and well!! Despite a shoulder injury and what has been a dismal year (2020) for pretty much anything, I somehow have extended my streak to a whopping 30 consecutive months with at least one Ace! Granted, it was the super short Hole #7 but I and my Glo Roach couldn't care less! ;) My Roach hit a smooth line and it faded right into the chains for a no-doubt Ace! It looked true the whole way and it was just a huge relief to nail it and to keep a really cool streak alive. I put together my best round of the day as well! My Star Beast hit a wonderful line on #8 and my 15 ft. putt was true while the Inertia of all discs came through on #3 in spades. Overall, it was an immensely satisfying round (only negative was my Teebird drive on #4 which turned WAY too much)."

Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I think I injured my right shoulder yesterday @ Harbin Park. I helped a friend get his Star Wraith down from a tree on Hole #5 but I threw a lot of sticks up at it and I think my last throw might have done something. :( I threw very well today but I might have to rest the ole shoulder for several days."
-7
Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Not a bad round at all! My vintage Teebird came very close on Hole #1 (nailed a straight line and hit the pole) and my Sword didn't disappoint on #8."

Matthew Hull 40 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Just to start things off, it was a bittersweet night because I received news that my beloved grandma is probably going to be leaving us within the next week (or sooner). She hasn't been doing well lately but it was still like a stomach punch to get the crap news for sure. I debated on playing after work but I needed this and I am glad I played. It wasn't the normal yelling and celebrating but I really did snag two Aces with my Star Spider during Round #2 on Holes #6 and 9. It was amazing considering my mental state and I will certainly be dedicating these to my grandma. She (and my grandpa who is still alive as well) has been such a huge part of my life and I have always treasured the memories we have shared. It's just a shame that this life really is temporary. We think we'll be here forever and...in truth, we are just shadows and dust (a quote from Gladiator I believe). Anyhoo, I know that this isn't really disc golf-related but many things in life are more important than throwing plastic...as much as we enjoy to do that. ;)"

Matthew Hull 44 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "No more Aces but I did have some solid throws these last couple of rounds. My Sword hit a nice line on #8 but was well short of the Ace line. I'm still trying on that 285 ft. hole!"

Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "After finding my Spider so quickly this morning, I was positively elated! And since I was at Reserves Park anyway (6:15 AM too!), I decided to get a few rounds in before running some errands and heading home to work. And holy smokes...my Spider darn near hit an Ace on Hole #4! I took my time and threw it with solid velocity and it hit a wonderful line! It was fading superbly but unfortunately, it came in too high and it hit the top band of the basket. So close to glory for ole "Spider Sauce." My Star Beast hit a solid line on #8 and my 15-20 ft. putt was true!"
-14
Matthew Hull 40 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "How about that? On a morning when my sole goal was to locate my beloved Star Spider, not only did I find said disc but I walked away with a smooth Ace as well! It can certainly be a high-risk throw on Hole #1 but when my Falcon Servo hits that super straight line to the right of the basket then fades right into the chains, it is worth its weight in gold...Ace gold that is! ;) This one was absolutely a no-doubter too (felt immediately that it was going in)! I played very well on both rounds as well and I threw a heavy dosage of Falcon Servo during my Ace round and it didn't fail me. Not a bad way to start the day either!"

Matthew Hull 46 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It was quite windy at times but other than that, you would be hard-pressed to find a more pleasant evening to enjoy some disc golf! It was 85 degrees and it felt superb as the evening cooled down. I played a couple of rounds before my good friend Michael showed up and I did well enough! The adjustment from Harbin Park to Reserves Park is never an easy one though (overshot more than a few baskets!)"
-10
Matthew Hull 44 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Michael and I played a couple rounds before chatting into the twilight and it was great fun! My Falcon Servo was incredible on Hole #3 both rounds (landed 5-10 ft. to the left of the basket both rounds) and my Star Spider hit some really sweet lines as well."
-8
Matthew Hull 19 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I am very tired as I type this and that is almost completely the result of what happened on Hole #3! Michael and I were finished for the evening and I almost just drove home and called it an evening. Almost... I ran to Hole #4 and threw my vintage Teebird for the heck of it. Then I did the same on #5. Then I put in a phenomenal 30-35 ft. putt on #8 and it was ON! My Spider narrowly missed the Ace on #1 while my Champion Destroyer was solid on #2. However, my drive on #3 would prove to be quite costly. Sitting at 8 down with one hole to go (since I started on #4), I foolishly threw my Star Spider instead of going with my money disc (Falcon Servo). I felt that one bad throw would cause me to lose my Falcon Servo (it was completely dark by this point) yet I threw my Spider and I could tell right away that it was going to go straight for a while but then fade into the tall weeds/grass/trees. I had my flashlight with me and after searching for more than an hour, I headed home with my round incomplete. Thankfully, I ran back out there at sunrise this morning and I found my Spider almost right away (WHOO-HOO!) It was actually a shorter throw than I thought and it was hidden pretty well deep in the brush to the left. I had a good enough upshot before putting in a solid 15 ft. Roach putt. But man did I ever lose sleep over this one!"

Matthew Hull 50 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "What a beautiful day! It was 80-85 degrees with virtually no wind and, after viewing a house in the neighborhood, I decided to get in a few rounds before thunderstorms hit in the afternoon (which they DID). I played very poorly by my standards (some horrible drives + lousy putting mostly) but it was still fun to get outside and play."
-5
Matthew Hull 22 - Regular tees, 9 holes "If it's any consolation, I did manage to snag another super short Ace today! ;) It isn't helping my average distance per Ace but my Falcon Servo hit a sweet line on #7! I threw it nose down and it hit a laser of a line before crashing into the chains. This round could have been epic had my vintage Teebird connected on either Holes #4 or 5 (it came close on #4 and it turned right into the left side of the pole on #5 hitting the chains but not sticking). In any case, thunderstorms hit Liberty Township HARD so this was naturally my final round of the day."

Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It's Friday!! :) The weather was beautiful this evening (75-80 degrees with hardly any wind) and I was able to snag yet another Ace on Hole #6 @ Reserves Park! My Neutron Envy nailed the line (held steady to the right of the basket before fading right in) and a toss like that makes me wonder why I can't hit that line every single time you know? In any case, I was very happy to snag an Ace although my velocity was way too strong to be playing @ Reserves Park. I say that because I was overshooting everything! I even threw my Sword some 50 feet past the Hole #8 basket which rarely happens. So that is why my scores were just so-so despite the juicy weather conditions."
-11
Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I certainly had my moments this evening although my velocity was too strong overall (could have had a GREAT round @ Harbin Park had I played there). I came *ridiculously* close to acing Hole #3 though. My Blue Bomber Buzzz hit a wonderful line there and it NAILED the chains! I couldn't tell if it stuck or not but I was sure it was in...only to find out that it somehow didn't stick. Bummer dude! On top of that, I broke out my Star Spider on the same hole (#3). I had never thrown my Spider there before but I wanted to try it so I threw it with velocity and it hit a superb line before bouncing off of the bottom lip of the basket! Granted, that would have been a practice ace but still...to have two tosses come so close (I still don't know how my Buzzz didn't stick!!) was frustrating!"

Matthew Hull 46 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Only a true NUTCASE would play disc golf in the rain with flash flood warnings and moderate winds blowing everywhere. And yet...that's apparently when I am supposed to enter the stage. ;) At least it was 55 degrees or so as my trusty Dri-Fit shirt handled the elements just fine. We just flew back in to Ohio yesterday but I couldn't resist the urge to get outside and exercise a bit. It was a good time too despite the fact that I didn't play spectacularly."
-7
Matthew Hull 47 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Amazingly, I actually played Hole #3 fairly well despite the elements. My Falcon Servo hit an exceptional S-curve line a couple of times this evening!"
-6
Matthew Hull 48 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "There it is!! I was starting to wonder if my Ace streak of 27 straight months was possibly in jeopardy but my Star Spider saw to it that it continued...even if the Ace came on a bunny hole. ;) I'll tell you what though...on a day with rain and wind playing a major factor, even a 130 ft. Ace wasn't easy to come by! I tossed my Spider with a tailwind and it found a good line and faded right into the chains for the Ace!"

Matthew Hull 49 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "TGIF!! It rained a lot this morning and it was windy (again!) but I couldn't resist the urge to play several rounds this evening. It was actually cool outside (50 degrees-ish) which is odd for this time of year but then again...it's Ohio! ;)"
-13
Matthew Hull 41 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Considering the conditions, these were two very solid rounds! My Roach has been amazing in terms of putting despite the wind factor which is very encouraging! I played Holes #3 and 8 very well which is a major feat when you consider what the wind was doing! My Falcon Servo and Blue Bomber Buzzz hit some nice lines for sure."
-6
Matthew Hull 48 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Unfortunately, that's now a couple of days with no aces @ Reserves Park but then again, it's the days without them that make you appreciate the days with them, right? :)"

Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Work has been insane this week so naturally, I braved the high winds @ Reserves Park and went Ace hunting! It was a challenge big-time but I hung in there and had a few nice moments. I broke out my Champion Katana for the first time in ages and it sure hit some sweet lines on #8 this evening!"

Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes
-11
Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I had several throws that came close to hitting the Ace line(s) this evening but there were no metal hits to speak of. The wind definitely made things tough even here!"
-9
Matthew Hull 18 - Regular tees, 9 holes "What a way to finish off the evening! My throws of the round were definitely my Blue Bomber Buzzz on #3 (didn't *quite* turn enough but a little more turn and that puppy was going to find the Ace!) along with a solid Champion Katana drive on #8 (made a fantastic 30-35 ft. putt there)"

Matthew Hull 46 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It was nice to play a few relaxing rounds today @ Reserves Park after an epic day @ Harbin Park yesterday! I was decent but not completely on target today. I actually threw a bunch of different discs today (all "Ace-less" except for my Roach which I used for putting only) which probably explains it. My rainbow Champion Teebird hit some nice lines along with my Nuke S.S."
-7
Matthew Hull 47 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I did emerge with one solid round today (although the last one was a real stinker). My Nuke S.S. hit a wonderful S-curve on Hole #8 (with a tailwind)!"

Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I am exhausted physically but immensely satisfied as I type this because I played a whopping twelve rounds of disc golf @ Reserves Park this late afternoon/evening! It was hovering around 58-60 degrees with a light breeze and was a beautiful day and I am just grateful that I got to enjoy part of it! :) My play this evening was much more consistent than a couple of nights ago too. I actually started on Hole #4 (traffic on the early holes) but it was my initial drive on #1 that was SO close to going in the basket for the Ace. My Blue Bomber Buzzz hit a wonderful line there and faded right into the bottom lip of the basket. I wanted that one to fall but alas...I had to settle for a birdie instead."
-11
Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Talk about consistent! My scores in these rounds were identical (five down and six down) to my initial duo of rounds! And my putting was actually quite good tonight...especially on Hole #8 for some reason! Of course I still missed some putts I should have made but overall, it was a superb evening of putting which is something I can't say often."
