Concrete Round 2! The next set of concrete tees at the Portage Lakes disc golf course are on schedule to be poured on Saturday, June 23 at 8:30 AM. There are 13 tees to be poured and help is needed, as are wheelbarrows and finishing tools. FYI, the 12 tees poured last time look great! Several people (and wheelbarrows) who helped on the last pour will be out of town, so all help will be appreciated.

So that we can know if we have enough help to proceed, please respond if you can help. Everyon ... more

I don't think a disc course should get a low review just because it has a lot of trees, just saying. If you like open courses, that's fine, but each course should be scored for what it is. Portage is for technicle players, go to Canton if you want to throw for distance!

Things have moved faster than anticipated and I am pleased to let you know that we now are planning to POUR CONCRETE for 6 to 8 tee pads this Saturday, April 14, starting at 9:00 AM! There is a catch, however. In order to prevent the concrete from solidifying in the mix truck, we need your help (and wheelbarrows) to help move concrete to the pad sites. The plan is to order the concrete on Thursday, so we need to know by Wednesday evening if you can commit some time on Saturday morning. Plea ... more

That would totally do it!!!!! It's definitely NOT in more than 2 meters of water, I could see it out there as long as the wind was blowing the little waves across the water.
