Every week or so some improvement happens to this course. If you have not played in a bit I suggest you come out every few months. Amazing layout, all concrete tees 3+ pin locations on every hole. Pins change weekly. Upkeep is amazing as where there was once glass and hazard is now mulch and a well kept course.

When I play somewhere I enjoy where every hole has something unique about it and there is not a lot of repetition. This course offers it. What is even better is just when one or two holes really beat you down with a tough kick or a very tight fairway than your in the open for a nice bomb to take any pressure away the very next hole. A little over a year ago this was a high B+ for me but now this is easily an A+

Given the space available, this course was laid out masterfully and will require you to throw many technical shots to navigate the twists and turns of the Ferndale woods. Two concrete pads and recreational pavers on every hole, as well as numerous pin locations (up to 5 on some holes) which gives the course a plethora of layout possibilities. Substantial improvements have been made since its inception. When in Maryland, it’s a must play!
