Other Thoughts: This course is located on a small college campus. We stopped in for a round during a birthday weekend road trip that included 3 difficult courses and this one. It was a welcome relief to enjoy a stress free round on this quiet campus.
The signage is excellent and gives good detail except for a couple holes where the distance is off a bit. We really enjoyed the flexibility this course allowed due to its relative openness. There are some very large pines on site, but branches are way to high to be a major factor. There were several places where flowering bushes were used to block certain approaches, and they were very nice. But, most of the technical challenge had to be manufactured through the use of mandos. The hole going into the baseball field was a bit absurd with the basket being placed directly behind the home plate backstop. The next hole would have been cool if the fenceline was OB, but since it was in play, it turned out quite simple. The basket across the pond squeezed in close to the shore was a lot of fun.
Is this a destination course? Probably not. Is this a stress free course that we really enjoyed? Yes! Play it if you happen to be passing through. I think you will like it.
