Registration is now open for the 2017 MVP Circuit Challenge at Young's Run DGC. $30 for 3 discs plus additional swag. There will be 2 rounds of play. One from long tees and one from shorts. There will be a break for lunch after 1st round has been completed. Prizes will be awarded per round for each level of play as well as grand prize overall lowest score. Targets are planned to be installed later today 11/2...17 of 18 holes will have baskets. ODNR has expressed interest in adding tee pads with disc golfers support. Stay tuned for requests for funds ($) and help. ODNR has been very supportive and would be great for disc golfers to show our appreciation. (disc golf attendance for manual labor for installation was light). Park has shown commitment with recent add of pavilion, restrooms, and added holes.

Workday Monday 10/17 - expansion clean-up. Starts at 4 pm. Mostly moving cut trees and limbs. First time volunteers please stop at park office to register. Work group near hole #5 for those arriving later.

Course will be 18 holes soon. Additional targets are on order and are expected any day. Work will resume in October after restrictions n cutting trees during bat season. Five of the holes in the woods one in the field. New holes favor lefties.

Next project - cement tees. Looking for donations to make it happen.
