I'm coming down from Detroit in July, is this worth playing? Is high grass still an issue? Any disc golf stores in the area?

I just played this course. It got mowed, the signs are gone, but there are new benches on almost every hole, there are trees gone but not that bad. it gives you different looks now. the brush is thinner, so fining discs will be easier. the baskets have always been bad, but they still catch discs. The course is still good and even better on some holes. Its not a A+ course but its not a D+ one. I would give it a solid B.

This course is now open again! Very disappointed in my experience today. Grass wasn't mowed, navigation and signs gone, baskets all beat up. Tons of trees are gone, Emerald Ash Borer got them. I once loved playing here, it is not the same. I won't shell out anymore money for pay to play here. Course now Is a D plus at best

Is this course still currently closed?
Not sure! Need to contact the local parks Dept. Last time I was there , they were removing 100s of trees.

Say something ...This course is now closed. Emerald Ash borer decimated this course. Major logging currently going on. Sad day for Disc golfers who loved this course.
Are there more courses in Peru/ Mississinewa that are still open or are they all closed?
Played Honeybear and Maconaquah in Peru this past Wednesday, both are in good shape. So get out there and start hucking plastic.nd ready
Signs and baskets are in the process of being replaced. Be sure to try it out again later this year! Also, Maconaquah is a fun one too, give it a shot if you haven't.
