Great course. The 18 hole layout is challenging but fair. Concrete pads in the spring will boost the grade to A.

This course is extremely unkept it hasn't been maintained in years the first three baskets don't even have Fairways straight through the woods the first basket looks like it got hit by a falling tree basket 6 had a dead squirrel on top of it that look like it has been there for a month it's about a ten-minute hike from the last basket to The First Tee it wouldn't be a bad easy 9 with a little upkeep

Overgrown, pretty much a disaster

The course that time forgot. I played this course once and didn't care for it,, but it had potential. My son has a soccer game in Wadsworth today so i figured i try it and see if there were any upgrades. Everything is over grown. Full trees fallen and blocking entire fairways. Tee signs and pads non existent still. Wadsworth obviously doesn't take any pride in this park at all. Had the potential to be a very nice 9 hole course. Probably still does, but until somebody steps up and takes ownership of this course don't waste your time.

I Gave it a C because it only has 9 holes. I like the layout and the park itself a lot plus I got my first ace on hole 1 during the ace race on 8/23.

This course isn't as bad as a lot of people might say (myself included). The holes provide a relative challenge yet it is a great course for beginners. However, on several holes I feel like there is always at least one pedestrian in the fairway. And hole nine ends throwing at the sidewalk. There is however a serious issue with drainage. Many holes and consequently teepads get super muddy. Minor adjustments, completed steps on hole one and quality signage would make this course a solid B in my book. Wish I had time to devote to development.

IT HAS POTENTIAL, BUT NEEDS ALOT OF WORK. WADSWORTH IS THE CLOSEST COURSE FROM KEN MORE AND I STLL DONT GO THERE. MAYBE IF THE 9TH HOLE WASNT A MILEFROM THE STARTING POINT.

Gonna give a high c cuz I had a good time playing here had a lot of issues but regardless was a fun short tight at times course. 2 killed me never seen that many trees and a tight alley of approach. The local park patrons did add a level of problems but no big egos or attitudes like other parks. Don't go in expecting the world but definitely could see this course having a lot of potential.

Really cool course, beginner friendly, only reason for the c+ rating is #9 doesn't end anywhere close to #1 and there is much more room available for a full 18. I know it takes time and money so im sure sooner or later this course will be great. Not a destination course but if your in the area and/or you have kids theres an awesome playground and you can get in a couple holes.

Fun little 9 hole course with lots of duece & ace runs. Baskets excellent, tee signs are OK (missing hole lengths) & some tee pads are a bit rough. Look around before you throw as this course goes through a park with many other activities going on. A few adjustments to the current 9 & an additional 9 more holes... lots of potential here! Stop by if your close.

Not a terrible course. Not to great either. I look at the layout of the park and see some of the best potential for one signature hole after another. None of that potential is used though. Hole 3 is just silly. 2 isn't far behind. Hole 6 is great though. Its got a few different possible ways to get there. I like hole 9 as well. Even with some work clearing some brush and putting in concrete tees isn't going to save the weak layout. I do appreciate the work done putting in a course out there though. Wadsworth needed one.

This is a cool course but it has some dangerous flaws. Hole #1 has a hole dug for a pad, but no pad has been put in. Wooden frames have been put in for concrete steps, but no concrete has been poured. Hole #5 has a picnic table in the middle of the fairway, and hole #8 you are throwing directly at a swing set. Other than that, solid course.

Nice short course very close to where I live. Could be marked better. My biggest problem is this first hole. In June (approximately) someone dug out a hole for concrete. I was excited because I thought they were putting tees in. I was mistaken. The hole is still there and hasn't been touched. This makes it very difficult to drive considering the hole takes up a majority of the area that you would tee off. To make matters worse after they dug the hole they started building a set of stairs by the ...

I thought the layout of some of the holes were pretty fun and kind of difficult but nothing is marked out and the baskets are hard to notice

This course has come a long way over the years and they work hard to take care of it. Great teepads, with good signs, and pretty easy to follow. There are several elevation changes and a nice mix of open and wooded holes. Some shorter and many longer holes to test any level. It can get pretty muddy when it's wet, so keep that in mind. Fun course and definitely worth the trip! Some unique baskets as well, have fun!

Good variation of holes. Park is very nice. Course is too short, disappointing long walk back to parking lot after hole 9. Hopefully the back 9 loops back to the parking lot. Hole 7 is probably the toughest hole. I live in Wadsworth, but with Medina and Portage Lakes being so close, it's worth the extra drive to play elsewhere for now.

My wife and I "stumbled" upon the new course yesterday (10/8/11) while walking through the park. We have been looking for a nearby course for quite awhile. As we walked around we saw some very poor placements. As mentioned in Mitch's review, some of the baskets are too near the walking path. #6 is only a couple of feet from the "swampy" part of the lake. Retrieving your disc could be messy. The drive from #7 tee to the lay-up area has a bridge and swamp directly behind it. A slightly longer to ...

This course is a great start for Wadsworth. Id like to see pads put in asap due to most of the tee's are very undefined and some pretty wet. I like the mix of holes, and cant wait to see the back nine put in so you don't walk a pointless half mile back to your car:) I would also like to see some of the bad trip hazards removed or at least spray painted.

LATEST UPDATE: This course is now even more playable. Concrete tees are in, and they're fantastic. Holes 2, 3, and 4 are redesigned for more distance, less public interference, and reduced interference between holes. Some of the holes are of a good degree of difficulty, but it's still playable for all skill levels. I'd never have thought this would be a recommended stop, but it's really starting to approach that. Most of my criticisms/suggestions below seem to have been addressed like I ha ...

A tantalizing 9 hole crazy, interesting, fun course. A couple major interference issues with other park activities (walking path, swingset, parking lots) that may be dangerous. First handful of holes wind down a wooded area, from there you toss around a large pond, then over a steep ravine, and finish among some mature trees. Potential is there to fine tune the layout, clear out the wooded holes, and hopefully expand into a full 18 hole course.

Pros: Nice facilities, though most are not used well. great looking lake. Really a nice looking park. new baskets a mix of wooded and open holes Cons: short, many are 150ft ish Dangerous: the walking path comes into play on most of the holes that aren't in the woods. and the one hole that doesn't, plays THROUGH a swing set. Another danger is that the tee boxes are almost withing the 30ft circle of the prior basket on some holes. Still needs a lot of clean up Other Though ...

I rate this course 2 out of 5 stars. Pros Please note that at the time of this review the course is still being constructed. - Plenty of parking and there is a top notch kids play area called Kaleidescope next to Hole #1’s Tee. - There is a sign for the entrance to the park and there is also a nice billboard for the course next to Hole #1’s Tee - The map is very simple but accurate - Natural tees are in decent condition - Baskets are new and in fantastic condition - There ...
