Yes it is open all year. Best time to play is right now when the weather is real nice. Only issues you may encounter is closer to the beginning of the school year when they use one of the holes for football practice at about 4:00, and I think there is a few times in the summer when they have concerts that disrupts play on hole 7. Other than that its mowed all the time and well manicured. You will enjoy it.

I am going to play this course sometime in the next year and wanted to know from players here 1. Is it open year round and 2. What are the good months of the year to play (or stay away from this course) due to course conditions?

Steve Schlicker March 7, 2012 at 12:46am
Thanks! Ill give it a try.
Jeremy Reisig March 6, 2012 at 4:53am
The original nine played 1-6, then the "old hole 7" plays from current tee of 13 to the basket on 16, and finishes with 17 and 18 as the old "8 and 9".
Steve Schlicker March 5, 2012 at 11:23pm
Could somebody please explain what the "original nine" holes were? I'm guessing holes 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 17, and 18 were among these nine just by the nice loop it creates..
Tom Taylor August 31, 2011 at 5:06pm
Concrete tee's are coming. Hopefully this year yet

I stopped by Sunday night Dec. 19 and baskets 17 and 18 were still in. Maybe they are keeping the whole course in for us hard core players?
terry J. gibbs December 12, 2010 at 3:07am
last year they only took baskets 17 and 18 out for sledding, so i would imagine they would have taken them out already
Steve Brown December 9, 2010 at 1:18am
Does Frankenmuth take down the baskets in winter?? if so when???
