McVay Rock State Park

Older park, being revitalized by the local golfers. Still needs work and will remain unchallenging until they complete their plans. Mostly open throws, at this time, some of them long. OB on this course is frequently forever: the blackberries are thick and unforgiving, as is the Pacific Ocean. The intention is that this will become a beginner-/intermediate-level course. It's a good course right now for beginners, like myself. As long as we go for safer shots, our discs are not likely to be eaten.
