This is a great course. Well manicured. Long challenging baskets. With the MVP Portals this is an A+ course. With the addition of another 18 holes, this is a great course to play whether you are looking for some serious long drives or if you are looking for a shorter, challenging course. This is a destination course. Bring the family, they can enjoy the day at the great pool at the Marlette Park and Pool and you can play a great round of disc golf. Pro shop on site. Bar, snack bar. Golf carts available for rental.

This is a wonderful long and challenging course for the summer and they have moved some pins to make a shorter, more complex, winter course that shaves 45 min. off a round. Definitely a favorite place to play. Update; Spring 2018. The short course helps to avoid the water hazards but does not reduce the difficulty of the course. This is a great course for the Rec. player and the novice. They have completed the "Aliens Landing" and offers another level of play. Great job offering shorter fami ...

This is a beautiful course. The holes are long, challenging with a few short holes mixed in to challenge your skills there. Will be back to try many times for sure.

Super fun course with plenty of space to air it out. Course is always in perfect shape and condition. Food is pretty dang good. Bar, lounge, pro shop and more. Perfect place for tourneys and disc golf events. Owner and employees are super cool. Just a mile from MVP HQ. 36 Holes by this summer! Overall a really nice disc golf course.

The crew at Marlette Golf Course have done an amazing job integrating disc golf on to their course. Having a technical aspect added to each hole while having the wide open ball golf fairways was done very well looking forward to heading back!

On a winters journey thru the thumb of the mitten, I had the honor of having a guided tour of the winter layout from none other than Santa, Ducky & Keith (Santa's helpers?). For a wide open bolf course, the strategy of placing baskets amongst the few trees is key to making the layout fun. And this layout certainly did that. Everything was well within reach from the tee, making it aptly named, Acey Deucey. Fun layout. Looking forward to trying out the longer summer layout.

Fantastic use of the land and water hazards. Big bomber shots. Perfect turf for backhand rollers. The acey duecy course is also quite fun and very friendly to newer players. Really enjoying this place more and more. Also houses an indoor winter putting league.

Great course that is long and challenging. Mostly open fairways with a couple tight window shot's with some nice pin locations...new baskets were just put in that makes the course that much nicer

Awesome course that has its challenges with sand traps and water hazards, but not too much so! Great place to rip a few long drives out. Fairly simple to navigate. Plus John at Disc 2 Basket is a great guy to deal with! Looking forward to coming out here again!

The natural setting and clever layout makes this an outstanding course. The course is challenging but not so difficult that my 11 year old son couldn't enjoy his round. The highlight of his day was when he found his disc underneath a bridge stuck in the mud with a large frog right beside it. Also, the disc shop has an amazing selection of discs and the disc manager was extremely helpful and knowledgable about his craft.

The course is on perfectly maintained greens and filled with beautiful scenery. The setting is pristine with a fun atmosphere. Easy to follow pins and tees. Fair mix of scattered trees, sand traps, and few small water hazards that bring a balance of challenge, but not overly difficult. They are installing the 30 chain MVP Portal baskets in 2017. Accommodations including golf carts and an open clubhouse for food and drinks. Easily one of my favorites to play.

Excellent course, challenging with length of some of the holes, and water hazards. Not a lot of hills but not flat either. Well maintained. MVP baskets are nice! Of course, great to take a golf cart around. John and the gang very eager to assist, and the owner even came out to greet us as we set off. Nice sunny summer Sunday but not that busy, although cool in the morning, windy, and rain was in the forecast. 18 holes was perfect for my wife, but for me, I would like to see them get to 24, ...

This course is what anyone trying to mix ball golf and disc golf course should go for. Beautiful course, long holes, water, short holes and some nice variation shots.
The owners of the course are wonderful people that want all golfers to enjoy their time. Disc 2 Basket the new disc pro shop is also a great spot to find your next favorite thrower.

Hidden gem, well worth the hour drive and the fee. This long course is well maintained. Grass tee pads are good and firm, no slippage. MVP portable baskets are great and have red tape on the bottom spokes that point in the direction of the next hole. Beautiful course - well manicured fairways, great use of the land and ball golf obstacles, enough big drives that you can air out your arm but enough tighter, technical shots to keep the course fresh and fun. There is a good mix of virtually all types of challenges and shots so it does not reward one style of play over any other. The new Portal baskets are a nice addition as well. Lastly, the clubhouse and pro shop staff were exceptionally friendly and pleasant; John was great to talk with and g ...

Awesome course, keep up very nice, tough but fun layout. I played the midsummer glow tourney, the only thing that I can think to improve the course are a few benches, if you don't have a cart you could be standing awhile waiting for the group ahead to finish. Overall it's a awesome course highly recommended.

What a great course! I drive though Marlette a few times a year on my way up north to Port Austin, I finally made the time to stop and play a round this year. Deceivingly tough course, with a variety of holes and shot requirements. There are some very long par 3's and nice cover for the baskets on shorter holes. Both the disc golf store owner and course owner were extremely friendly and made the course more enjoyable. Easily walkable for one or two rounds, any more and I would get a cart.

I just played Marlette DGC yesterday and I already can't wait to play it again. The layout provides a challenge but without getting you lost. Once you putt out its pretty simple to find where the next teepad would be. The teepads are not cement but at this style of course I like it better the way that it is. Two other important aspects of this couse are the baskets and the carts. Dragon's Lair had MVP baskets and the "Alien's Landing" short course had Dynamic Discs baskets. It was great to putt ...

My wife and I had a great time here as usual. It is a two hour drive but well worth it every time. The course seems nicely divided for disc and ball golfers. Although the course is open there are many challenging lines to work with. It is very well maintained and manicured which is not the case for many disc golf courses. Bill and John and staff are friendly and accommodating. This course is definitely worth visiting anytime you are in the Thumb of Michigan. Get a cart for added fun! Hopefully cement pads are installed in the future.

THIS COURSE ROCKS. Amazingly groomed Well designed disc golf course laid beside a ball golf course. Very nice to play on such a well maintained course. Staff was wonderfull and so were all the ball golfers we encountered throughout the day. Longer course yet plays to all skill levels.Pads are grass but ALL level. Also has a very decent size pro shop with a lot of different plastic selection on site. Also John Herman was very helpful showing us around and telling us what's in store in the future.

Amazing course and staff! The design is very challenging for as big and open as the land is. On a lot of the holes the basket placement rewards not throwing a big hyzer shot unlike most hybrid courses. Very well maintained and the drink/food cart is a huge plus! I wish I could play here more often!

Unique course to say the least. I haven't seen anything else like it. Course is designed with fairways along side or down the middle of the ball golf course. Good course maintenance, great clubhouse, nice baskets, and fun to use the carts. Course is fun, and has some challenging holes but it could be a lot more challenging. A good number of the holes leave something to be desired. For example, with hole 17 there was more of a challenge by putting the basket on the hill. But then the teepad moved way closer to the basket making it an arguably easier hole. Fairly expensive at $12.50 for only 18 holes. If you want to play more with a cart it is an addit ...

I’m not sure how old these reviews are, but this was a huge disappointment. As part of a 4 day disc golf trip we added this to our trip based on description and reviews. Where do I start?!!! There was only one course not the 2-3 advertised. Ball golfers and disc golfers cross paths often. The day we were there, ball golfers seemed not to like disc golfers being there. Several occasions we had long waits waiting on ball golfers. They have the right of way? I don’t know, we paid too. Course ...

Not sure how people can give this an A+ when compared to Flip City. They feel it is equal to that? Imo it is not and a few notches below. There are some fun holes but also a few that need tweaking. Carts are a bonus and John and his pro shop are great. Very good pricing on discs and accessories ($2-$5 cheaper than everywhere else) Definitely stop in and play the course if you're in the area and hopefully meet John.

Not sure how you can give a course an A+ when there's no teepads or permanent signage. This course is average at best. Design is lacking variety and quality. Quite a few holes have the wrong distances, I for 1 can't throw a putter 390' but sure as heck watched one land in the circle on a hole marked around 390' also landed circle 2 on a 570' hole when I struggle to hit 450' normally. It was a decent course but completely wide open. Not worth the money. Only hyzer shots and only one tighter line shot. If you’re going to practice upshots, it’s good, but if you’re there for practice on drives or skill shots it’s not really worth the money. Definitely not one of the better courses I’ve played.
