FYI, the Sunday morning doubles round may be moving to Fitzgerald Park next week to get a round in before their tournament the following weekend. As long as the conditions aren't expected to be too muddy or too snowy we will play in G.L. I'll post again on Thursday for anyone interested.

Please get the word out. There will be a small player's pack donated with the April Fool's tourney and I need to get some numbers. If you are thinking about playing, please register so that I don't come up short. I am not spending any money on this thing so if you register and don't show, I won't hold it against you.

They started digging for the bathrooms at Lincoln Park today! Big thanks to anyone affiliated with the local Rotary Club for their generous donation!

Lost a yellow/green edged teebird on F, in the rough to the right. Keep an eye out, its an ace disc. Reasonable reward. Thanks!

I lost my champion boss on the last hole. I threw it in the water by the road. If anyone has found it or would look for it I would love to have it back. If found give me a call 616-681-1000

I picked up a score card while I was looking for my lost disc tonight in the hopes of having it tell me what Safari A and Safari B were. No luck. I know it's a different combination of tee pads and baskets but I can't find that combination written down anywhere. Anybody out there willing to explain Safari A and Safari B to me?

By the way, I noticed that Courtesy is spelled Coutesy on the score card.

Great round this morning. I don't think I've ever seen a round that solid from each group on a Sunday.

Well, I'm sorry not everyone is at your skill level or higher Jim. I always thought Lincoln park to be a course friendly to all skill levels, not just the elite. So to those planning a trip out here, If you drive less than 350 feet, an can accurately place your shots "near the basket" as Jim says stick to the front nine, unless the back 15 have been mowed. Knee high grass, is hard to find a disc unless you walk over it no matter how nice the shot.

As far as $$ for mowing, it was my understanding the city had already budgeted that in and had planned to do such.

Throw your shots near the basket and spend less time looking.
All parks are hurting for mowing $$ this year.

The course is becoming unplayable in the back. Spend a bit of time looking for discs on good shots because the grass is knee high on some of the fairways.

Just wanted to let you all know that the cub scouts had a blast playing at Lincoln Park tonight. To those responsible for setting up and maintaining this course - thank you.
