judge bondy has been making plans to have cops on the course with drug dogs. heard him say it myself when i was in court for probation, to someone that got busted at black locust.

At the tourney they put a guy in the booth in the morning when we start then he left and the place gets over run with casuals during the tourney. Eliminating the purpose of charging.

I am actually debating about calling the park office tomorrow. Had one of the worst disc golf experiences today. I will never bring my 3 year old daughter with me to play at Kensington until she is much, much older. I'm all for having a good time and having the occasional puff or drink on the course, I cannot however condone the use of hard drugs, especially in front a 3 year old. The amount of casuals was insane, there was at least 6-7 people still waiting to tee off Hole 1 at 7:45pm. ... more

I know K-Town has it's moments where all the city rats come out of the wood work, but the attitudes & the casualness of people smoking Meth absolutely blew my mind. Yes, people were smoking glass, I know what it smells like & it wasn't weed or crack-cocaine! Very disappointing to say the least, especially with all the garbage around garbage cans, I guess folks cannot make into the can. Not once did I see a patrol where someone was checking Id's and passes, nice to know the money I paid for my annual passes is going to good use. Clearly I can only enjoy this course with the family at 8am before the city rats appear, bummer, the course is an excellent challenge & extremely fun to play.

3/2/11 - Two Oakland County men have been arraigned in Oakland County Circuit Court on felony home invasion charges after police say they broke into a Milford home armed with assault rifles. 30 year old Mikell Fuson of Walled Lake and 18 year old Bryan Lewis of Commerce Township are each being held on $1 (m) million bonds on various charges including 1st degree home invasion, possession of firearms in the commission of a felony, possession of a loaded firearm in a vehicle and being a felon in possession of a firearm. Both men are on parole from previous convictions and will be back in court April 5th for a pre-trial. Milford Police say a husband and wife arrived at their Buno Road home November 29th to find two men inside with weapons. After calling 911, the couple drove a short distance away and saw one of the suspects leave the home in a minivan while two others fled on foot. A Milford officer pulled over the minivan in Kensington Metropark. Lewis was arrested after a foot chase and Fuson was taken into custody after an extensive search in a wooded area off of Milford Road. An assault rifle and property police suspect was taken in other break-ins was found inside the minivan. Police also found another loaded assault rifle, clothing and ammunition in the woods. (JM)

i went to the office they said it would be done within 15 minutes and waited almost 2 hours before they decided to plow it, their excuse? not enough state funding to have Maintenance staff work overtime. Disc golf is last on their list we should have better treatment seeing as 75% of people who go to the metro-park in winter are disc golfers
