With improvements (signage, better tees & safety concerns addressed) this course would score higher.

Recent minor redesigns and new tee signs have improved this course in a beautiful park. Outdated maps online say par 58, but it is now par 61 @ 5158' [#15 signed as 284 but no way, gotta be 184 max). Not a lot of change in elevation, but the designers did a great job working around trails and picnic areas. One tee and basket per hole. This is a white tee course, with 10 holes 250' or less. My first round of disc golf was at Thacher so I might have some first love bias. I started playing a little over a year ago and have managed to hit many big name courses around the area. That said; Thacher is a hidden gem that is worth the visit. They very recently reworked the front 9 along with new long/short tee pads. There is a parking fee of $6 but the park is well maintained. Worth it.
