Just a heads up....Course has been played to the point that snow is packed down to ice. Holes 13 & 18 are flooded and the ice forming is weak. I only played the quick nine, so I imagine the back part of the course is roughly the same.

Alright, I'll be heading to Indy at noon to shovel pads.

This course is probably in the best shape. No tees underwater. Good drainage. Pond on hole six should be refilling shortly.

I went out once again today. Chuck D pads are recleaned, and I shoveled fresh pads on Picinic. Smooth sailing tomorrow.

I'll try and hit the pads again today, I don't want to get up any earlier tomorrow than I have to. Will be playing at 11:15 at Indy today.

How are the tee's at Indy? Was going to try and play tomorrow, but I think old man winter & his icy rain might prohibit that :(

I lost a bright yellow Nuke on Hole 11 of Chuck D on Sunday. It is somewhere on the left side of the fairway past the brush/trees. Searched for an hour and could't find it. Number and Name is on the rim of the disc. Please return if found...

Thanks

CaCl is better for the concrete but it will irritate hands and is harmful to vegetation and animals. Best is the potassium or magnesium de-icers. Safer for the concrete and less harmful to vegetation and animals.

CaCl ok Scawt?

Thanks for the update Mike. However...

Please do not salt the pads at Indy as they are new and need at least one year of curing before it will be safe to salt. If the pads are salted there is a high risk of doing PERMANENT DAMAGE to the concrete. Cracking, yes cracking. Please thrown down sand or kitty litter or anything but salt. Thanks!

Managed to take today off, so I swung out this morning to shovel some tees while playing. I have learned a lesson today....Disc golfers are muther fucking crazy. The will play in almost any element just to knock out 18 :) I was surprised to see that there has been so much activity on the Chuck D course, snow on the tees was compacted down. I figured a few die hards would be out there, but I was NOT anticipating that I would be scraping ice off the tees :P :P So I brought a kids shovel, and ... more
