If you play Indy then your day pass will work at Rolling as well. Holly Woods is great, but will need your State Passport just a heads up before driving that far north. All your choices are great.

Really appreciate the responses!! I love this community!
We're coming from up north and we played Kensington two weeks ago (LOVED it!). We wanted to play Hudson and a course neither of us have played. We're considering: 1) Independence Lake, 2) Rolling Hills, 3) Holly Woods, and 4) Goldenrod.
If Saline wasn't so far south of AA, we'd definitely check it out. The pictures make it look great. Too bad there aren't more holes.

Depends on the time of day. Kensignton is pretty sweet in its own right and the two aren't comparable, very different. Indy has the advantage of the fact that it has MUCH less traffic.
So Id say Adam if your playing early go to Kensignton. (weekday ok to tee off < 3pm, < 1pm on weekends) Any times later than that and the casuals will back you up and annoy you (terrible at Kensignton).
The blessing of Indy is that its never busy and the traffic there is usually only regulars.

Everyone is entitled to an opinion Nick, but I've got to believe that most DG'ers would agree that Indy > Kensington.

saline for sure. well worth the drive. thank us later.

I played here yesterday and the gravel tees are quickly becoming just dirt tees. Got a lot more traction on my drives yesterday than before. Thanks to whoever pushed all the gravel off the letter tees....yay!!!!

I would go to Kensington. Only about 30 minutes from Hudson and much better than Indy, even though I do like Indy. Gravel tees are horrid.
Nate Wheeling September 28, 2012 at 5:42pm
Adam - there are currently 20 great holes to shoot from here...well worth your time. The added extras don't have cement tees yet, but they have gravel/stone to throw off of. Credible local sources also claim that Saline Rec is a gem, which is fairly close to Indy and HM...enjoy greater Dexter/AA DG.

I'll be coming down to Hudson Mills and want to play another good course. It looks like this course is in a state of flux. Should I pick somewhere else?
