Does anybody know when the park is going to close the park road?

Yes you can hunt within the state park. Most hunters are smart enough and have moved to different areas. However, the area where the course is now used to be very heavily hunted. When we were laying out the course it was littered with tree stands. With that being said, they have the right to be there. Just try tone courteous. Most of them will move to another area with all of the people moving through making it not good hunting grounds now.

Is it legal to hunt at Holly Woods disc golf course? Ran into a red neck out there with a rifle and a hunting dog on hole 15. He literally thought the baskets were "feeder bins" for deer. Thankfully he didn't mistake me for a badger and shoot me.

Kyle hopefully the state parks willl be able to work on the stump issue. They are awarevof it but it has to be all done by hand. In addition we will be redesigning several holes due to the losses of trees from the emerald ash borer. So that will probably take higher priority than the stumps...

The course is not in any lowlands and the region is well draining gravel so water is rarely an issue.

Fine, just a lot of roots in the ground (esp. the extra 6) to stub your toes on as usual. Played two weeks ago.

Major work was done last summer & yes they will be used. Short pads will also be incorporated for at least one of the rounds as well on several of the hole. Concrete pads were also poured...

What condition are the back holes in?? I have not played Holly Woods in a long while (two years maybe) and those back holes were really unpolished the last time I played there. Was wondering if they have been cleaned up. And also will those holes be in play for the A tier tourney there this year?
