Tight, technical and heavily wooded course favours accuracy and shot-shaping over maximum distance throws. Beautiful scenery and well marked tees and trails make for a very easy to navigate and beautiful hike through the forested foothills of Hinton. The course culminates in a panoramic view of the Rocky Mountains of Jasper National Park.

New Parking lot is left off of Robb road across from Hinton Bike Park.
1st tee off is northwest of the welcome Kiosk. Hole 10 tee off is northeast of kiosk. Butterfly design, so you can start at the front or back nine, and stop in at kiosk between the front 9 and back 9.

Elevation at play on most holes both up and downhill
Bathroom is in parking lot of Hinton Bike Park across Robb Road
No potable water on site so bring your own
Benches provided on all holes
Garbage and recycling bins located next to kiosk
Tips for building a bag / supplies:
-Bright colored discs recommended
-Fantastic for putter-only rounds
-Sharp doglegs
-Low ceilings when leaves on trees
-Good hiking shoes with ankle support recommended
Headwind is common on holes 17 & 18. As is long grass that hides discs. Spotter recommended on holes 17 & 18
Wildlife on course, especially deer but predatory animals possible. Bring bear spray or bear bangers/whistle/spray/make noise especially if you're alone in the early morning or late evening
Area has cell service throughout with emergency services < 1/2 km away (dial 911)
Course is public and locals out walking is possible on a few holes but rarely disrupts play. Use caution and allow to walk through before driving.
Pet-friendly/Dogs off-leash permitted. Please keep pets in sight and under voice control at all times.

Beginners can schedule a member of HDGA to show them the basics and play a round
