A Kevin Jenks Sep 1 Brutal for cardio reasons. Don't bring your cart. Don't bring your over weight girlfriend. Not a hard course to par if you can catch your breath up the hills.
A+ Lucas Scott May 2021
Hanson Hill's Rotary course is an incredible experience to say the least. Designed to be challenging and not for the faint of heart; this course requires you to walk up, down, and around the major ski ... show more ›
A Michael Elmore Apr 2021 Great course. First played in 2010. Great to be back.
A Maria Klahre Apr 2021 Good use of ski slopes. Do remember to bring water, even if it is not that hot. Also remember to donate, the sign is not that obvious. Interesting choice to have 19 holes, but I am so glad the last one is there -- got one of my few pars on the course.
A Ron Simpson Apr 2021 I loved the course, picturesque, easy signage, challenging play, and 2 of the neatest finishing holes I've seen on any course. Very hilly course, not cart friendly.
A+ Jesse Qualls Apr 2021 Such a gem of a course, fairly difficult, physically, great work out up those hills. Fun fun fun, must go.
A+ Joe M May 2021 One great course. Challenging in every way. Shot shaping, elevation, consistency, and unlike any other course I have ever played....physical conditioning. This course will challenge in you in a multitude of ways. It is a beautiful well designed course. A must play!!!
A Bruce Bordeaux May 2021 The most epic course I've played in Michigan. Takes a good 2 and half hours - 3 hours to play through.
A- Andrew Beeman Jul 2016 Love the terrain.
A+ J 96 May 2021 If you come here and play the long tees bring water and some hiking shoes cause when your done youll be tired. If I had one word to sum up this course its HILLY.
A+ Philip “Flip” Balger Scott Jun 2022

A+ Jon Camp May 2021 Absolutely a must play destination course for advanced level players. One of the best courses in the state. Lots of distance huge hills and beautiful scenery. Can't believe took me this long to come play here. Will be back time and time again
B Phil Britton May 2021
Pros: cement pads were nice, course was pretty easy to navigate. Course wasn't busy at all, and was well-maintained. Cons: most of the holes were just long, fairly straight shots. The only variab ... show more ›
A+ Ryan Schmidt Jan 2022 This is easily one of the best courses in Michigan. All sorts of shots, tons of elevation (for a Michigan course). Great workout to be gained by completing a round. Cement Tees with Brooms. Garbage cans at most holes. Seating/rest areas mixed in on some Tees.
A+ richard bell Nov 2015 Play this course any time im close by. Never busy and hardly see anybody when im there. Very clean. Brooms on a few holes with multi tees on some holes. Challenging course but fair regardless of skill.
A Matthew L Sep 2015 Great course. Only saw 2 people the whole time we were out. Beautiful and breathtaking (literally lol)
A Matt Fradenburg Aug 2015 Excellent rigorous, high terrain course, scenic, fun, but difficult holes. the walk alone will kill ya'. an adventure to be sure.
A+ Daniel Tucker Jun 2022 Amazing course...Amazing view, maybe the best course I have ever played in 25 years odd playing the game.
B Becky Gilbert Aug 2013 hole 18 was a disappointment. was looking forward to shooting down the big ski hill to the parking lot. It was obvious that hole 19 was an afterthought to make it more interesting.
B Forrest Omland May 2014 Nice long course with a little bit of everything. Looking forward to playing it again.
A Kevin Reddy May 2013 Awesome, though extremely physically demanding, course! Very well marked, with helpful arrows keeping you on the right track everywhere you need them to be. If some of the concrete pads were full length, this course gets A+ from me.
A Robert Wagner Jan 2022
Worth the drive for sure. Pushed a disc gold cart through the entire course, and it was friendly for such, as some courses are not. This allowed us to stock up on water for the long haul. Hard to find ... show more ›

A+ Buffalo Sanders Jun 2022 This is all time greatest place to play theres nothing like it plus the view's is insane!!! Gods country for sure..
A- Dan Bienkowski Jun 2012 Course was great. Tons of elevation with a mix of open and wooded holes. Short tee pads on some holes and incorrect map direction on tee signs are my only cons.
A Mike Kennedy Jun 2012 Very nice course but be prepared 2 get a workout there is a lot of hill climbing.I found it hard to par but it was only my first time throwing there. Looking forward to another shot at it.
A+ Hanson Hills May 2012 Baskets are not missing.. We pulled them and set up a Modified course connecting the Pine Knoll course to the PDGA course for a fundraising tournament that week.. I apologize that Signs were not posted explaining this.. ALL BASKETS ARE BACK IN THEIR NORMAL SPOT.
A Robert Shaffer May 2012 Great course, Great views.. had a blast. lots of walking up and down hills but more then worth it for the variety of shots that you get.. Skyy Dogg hated us at the end of the round but will return. played 2 other new course this weekend and this one by far was my favorite
A+ Ben Jones Jun 2022 my favorite course, difficult, makes you throw all kinds of different shots, great workout and if you dont like the hills its because you're out of shape... definately bring a drink or two... beautiful course
A ken "sega salt" moote Oct 2011 Amazinggggg. One of the best courses I have ever played.insane that anyoneeee could give this course a bad review. No bums out there! One of the most professional courses around!! Dont miss out PERIOD!
A+ DJ Metzer Jun 2022 Havent played a ton of course but I would be surprised to hear that there are many courses that are better/more difficult. Little bit of everything here. Most fun holes are throwing down the hills.
A Uncle Todd #22388 Oct 2012 Great Course and even better workout. Pack a lunch, its a big walk! Played it again this year and enjoyed it even more. Parking hole 18 on my upshot for a drop in par was the high light! You really need to stay disciplined on this course.
A- Dave Milewski Apr 2021 In my top 5 courses in Michigan. Huge variation in shots and greens. Multiple elevation changes on at least half of the holes and deuces are not easy. Brutal workout. Go play this course.
B+ Mike Stump - OldStump May 2011 very scenic but physically among the most demanding courses to play as you must completely ascend the hill more than 3 times during the round. great downhill holes as well..

B+ Carl Hall May 2021 Nice beginner level course, but has some distance and tightness from the longs to make it challenging. Plays flat and mostly lightly wooded
A- Ron Crichton May 2018 Fun course. Wooded and open holes. Good mix of LH & RHBH holes. Couldn't find long tee box for #2. Disappointed not to see basket by the root wall seen in pics.

A- Chad Cole Aug 2014 Quite a pleasant surprise. Had no idea that Grayling would have two awesome courses for beginners and advanced. Nice and easy, but with some great holes all the same. Definitely playing it again next time I'm in the area.
A- Darwin Herron Jul 2014 Great course absolutely loved it
B Daniel Tucker Jun 2022 Other than the trees that need it be cleaned up its a great course...awesome handmade baskets on new holes
