Great course that doesn’t let up on the difficulty on nearly any tee shot. One of the few courses I’ve played in the state where you need to hit a gap and fly 350+ feet multiple throws in a row to have a look for birdie on every hole. Really rewards fairway hits and really punishes early tree kicks. On an off day a great player could take multiple double and triple bogeys. A course like this makes a birdie feel like a real accomplishment on most holes, which is something that public disc gol ...

Blues and Gold mean advance to pro play. Not for beginners yet. Shorts could help in that regard. great work overall

I haven't played this course but admire the Course designer Avery Jenkins. I can share what I've heard from others. It's Long and not recommended for beginners. We needed this Pro Level Caliber course here but this has no special features or creativity. Given more time, I think there is room for improvement.Traverse City will host the worlds one day is my hope and this is one more course to choose from. Thanks to E1 who helped make it happen!

Probably the toughest woods course you’ll ever play.

Shoot slower speeds and be accurate. Playing this course will set you straight.

Absolutely beautiful course, Avery Jenkins designed a monster .Challenging and extremely fun. The Turf pads are great, I wish they were standard at every course. If you're a RHBH player you'll especially love this course.

The course is in great shape, but I have to say it is a bit boring. Each hole is pretty straight and long. No real picturesque signature hole and no views of the lake. Lots of signage helps. Hopefully permanent blue baskets can be added for the short portion pins.

It’s a pretty good course. As an out-of-towner...I wasn’t really blown away. The tee pads, signage, and baskets are all fantastic. Place is well-manicured. The gold layout, while challenging, is a bit monotonous. All the holes are long, nearly every one finishes right to left, and there really isn’t a signature hole. Zero elevation or water. After a while, they all feel the same. I’ll come back once the short baskets are in. Perhaps those will provide some variety.

Good design, and there is nothing better than Northern Michigan woods. My only "complaint" would be that every hole feels the same with the same view. No grass fairways, elevation or water. Just 18 holes of flat woods golf. Even so, I enjoyed getting destroyed by this course.

Updated rating to A+ after playing Blue baskets! Much more amateur friendly.
