The land was formerly a quarry, creating an amazing landscape with shear cliffs and very deep valleys. Unbelievably fun to throw and very challenging.

This is by far my favorite course ever! Always set up extremely well, and Michael Barnett / Sun King Discs runs incredible tournaments there. Hardest working man in Disc Golf. Go play Throw Down the Mountain there, and tell him DJ Disc Golf said Hello!

I know this course changes a bit each year, but being a chucker from Northern Michigan (lots of elevation to play with), this course really blew me away!! I've been playing since 1995, and this is one of the coolest courses I've ever played - what a blast!! And I think it just keeps getting better each year. I highly recommend playing in the Throw Down The Mountain each March - this course really is quite the gem - play it! It will kick your ass, but leave you smiling nonetheless. The tee's a ...

For a native this was impressive being able to play a course with a little altitude other than flat land courses
