I am driving up to Ashland from Dover this week to do some training for work. I tried to stop and play this course this afternoon on my way home and I couldn't find it. I used the address/directions given by discgolfscene.com. I even asked a few locals and they acted like they didn't know what I was talking about. Can someone please give me some good directions?

Freedlander is located at Latitude/Longitude: 40.837580,-81.936148 which is the exact location of Hole #1's tee. This can be viewed easiest when plugged into Google Maps. Using the Latitude/Longitude instead of an address might produce better results for you when requesting directions from Google Maps.

So who exactly is in charge of the maintenance on this course? I am willing to come out and clean this place up.

@ Joe last time i played the course was in shambles. very high grass, uneven tees, vandalism, high park traffic. i try to only play this course in the winter time.

Has this course seen any TLC lately? It has been about a year since I was home and wanted to know if the course is still in the same poor state.

sean, a league would be sweet, but i don't think enough people care about it around here. the course's upkeep is terrible.. Let me know if you wanna play sometime and we can talk about a league.

I lost a Champion Groove off of 10 the other day. It hit off a tree and flew into the water. It waded in a little before sinking. If for some reason some one finds it please let me know and I will compensate you. I am origonally from Wooster but and Military and live in Tn.

I went out there about 2 weeks ago. It was a little muddy but not too bad. I'm sure the weeds and brush have grown more from all the rain lately, but it wasn't too bad when I went. The thick brush on the hill by 4's basket was even trimmed up.

Can anyone say the shape of the course right now? I will be back in Wooster later this month and really want to get out there and play. I enjoyed playing last summer when I was home but due to the over growth I was semi lost and spent alot of time looking for discs in the growth.
